He swore revenge on the prince because he felt betrayed, especially when the person he loved so much unintentionally caused the demise of everything else he loved. They re-united years later, and even though seme swore revenge he couldn't help but fall for the uke all over again. Turns out the uke had a tragic life when they were separated as well, his father, madly in love, killed his mother in a murder suicide.
