I like how it touched on racism a bit. You don't often see that in manga.

Erm. That's definitely rape. Yeah, this manga does not handle rape well. It doesn't pick the two okay options: angst or ignore it. It tries to do both and ends up falling awkwardly in the middle. Also that line in the side story about "'no' means 'yes'" during sex just made me HELLA uncomfortable.

Yo, okay, I really empathized with Minato. He's got that victim mindset. Like, in the first couple of pages he puts himself down and says he deserves what he gets, and when his boyfriend blames him for getting hit, Minato agrees with him, and he can't believe that Takumi likes him for something other than his face until Takumi actually says it, and at first he can't even believe that Takumi likes him at all, and oh god, just, I understand. That line about wanting to love and be loved is just so true. I want it too.

This is so dark, but somehow it sucks you in.

The real question is what the fuck is up with Sakura's hair.

I reread this every so often because I just can't forget it.
