Read up to 7; it’s a wasted opportunity. This series has good art, the artist has a talent for drawing different animals, but all of it is meaningless if your storytelling and writing is trash. This series could’ve been great. Not all main characters have to be good or morally right, but the MC for this isn’t even humane. Even psychopaths have reasons for doing things but MC is just eating things and researching for no reason bc he wants to be an Apex Predator. I’m so frustrated because this could’ve been good. We could’ve had like a serial killer/actually messed up MC isekaied into a fantasy world where nothing about his existing knowledge of predators or animals is useful. We could’ve had a brilliant story with world building, exploration, and action. But instead we have this one dimensional MC and a story with no explanation. Wtf. It’s so boring.

60. It’s okay, the harem isn’t bad but the fact all the women are blushing and yearning for him when he hasn’t done shit is uncomfortable. The art is nice but the switch feels odd—it’s like reading a different story. It’s an engaging read overall. But MC isn’t too interesting personality wise. I hate how MCs in this genre lose their personality and become “calm” when action starts. It makes it boring to read a toad get fawned over for following instructions.

Interesting setup but it’s not enjoyable. MC can’t say no and lies to his family. Game itself is boring. Other characters are boring.
