Living as a extra in a BL Omegaverse Novel
Personal fuck you to whoever gave me the IvanTill jumpscare, I am still in recovery. Art is nice, story looks funny, unfortunately doubt it’ll get a cute art if it ever gets a manhwa tho.
Masquerade
2. MC might be a bit on the naive and dumb side but the plot is interesting. I wish we could’ve gotten a strong MC instead of having him transmigrated into the body of someone pretty.
I Have To Be A Great Villain
Rating: 3/5 It starts off slow and illogical as most manhuas tend to be, but this one picks up with the plot soon enough. I wish the premise with the system had been explained better and things like what passes on/what can be bought was properly explained. But still not bad for a manhua. + Art for this is a major highlight, it’s vibrant and colorful and fits all the worlds it’s set in. + MC is intelligent and has a distinctive personality along with the ML who is possessive and a bit too OP most of the time. - Plot has some inconsistencies—MC forgetting his original purpose, using points to buy things but not doing that in critical moments, and lack of structure overall. This feels like a good first draft. - Minor thing but author’s obsession when having ML be a child in most of these universes was odd and weird.
The Villainess and Villain Try to Avoid Another Unhappy Ending
Rating: 2/5 Up to chapter 5; dropped. It feels like it was written by a man, has the classical Japanese flavored sexism. Also super fast paced and bad writing—MC who does nothing when her bf breaks up with her and nothing when her family treats her like garbage and a generic ML. I dislike stories where multiple characters reincarnate in similar roles to play the similar story because at that point there was no need to reincarnate—evil ex is still gonna steal MC’s ex???
Danna-sama, 10-nen de Rikon suru Yakusoku de Shita yo ne?
It’s the way I immediately knew this was Japanese based on how trash the ML is. 7 yo MC was coerced into signing a 10 year marriage contract and practically got abandoned, all her letters put in the warehouse while ML partied and pretended to be in a relationship with his secretary. Now that the contract period is over and MC is rich and independent, suddenly this dick has empathy. Empathy he didn’t have when marrying a 7 yo. Even now everyone’s pressuring MC to not get divorced and ML will try to “win her back” but nothing will ever make this okay for me. Even now, ML holds all the power bc if he says no to the divorce MC is stuck. This is a problem with a lot of Japanese works—pos ML ends up with a forgiving pure(read:child) “strong” MC who puts him above everything and forgives his flaws. This shit put me in a bad mood. What a waste of good art.
