However, will it just be friends, or will something more come from it? - This was calming uwu

A writer lives alone in his house in which one day a little boy wanders into. The writer begins hanging out with the little boy and being able to sleep with him by his side. The little boy’s family moves to America, before he promises the writer he’d come back once he was an adult. The story continues with the boy coming back now an adult going to college in Japan and the writer continuing his work. - I really loved how this wasn’t related to pedophilia at all, but the love stemmed from warmth and reliance instead of sexual desire. Super wholesome and a definite worth while read.
