Fukusu Mobure BL
Really cute.
I'm Getting Conquered by a Beautiful Male Cosplayer
Sensei, Mou Dame Desu
I found it really nice that the author actually showed why someone might fear love and relationships. It makes the characters have more dimension and seem more full. Though I think the other dude with the messy hair (idk his name) needed more background for himself. The POV switched towards the end which made it more sentimental, and we also got to see the other character’s perspective without being clouded by any external thoughts. ~ I really enjoyed this manga. I really hope other people can fall in love with it as much as I did. Thank you author(s) and translator(s) <3
Ore To Joushi No Kakushikoto
I like how it depicts the characters. We don’t get much background on the seme though. I found it really admirable how the author demonstrated how the uke felt and how he faced those issues instead of making him forget about it. ~ Its very simple and cute, though it has enough depth that I felt sympathy for the characters and actually thought of them not so much as characters in a short story, but people I have watched grow.
Kimi ni Koisuru Hazu ga Nai
Summary: and otaku falls in love with a stoic business man who has liked him for years. They go on cute dates, but the main conflict arrives when the otaku starts to notice that he like the business man (his friend). Then end up going to a love hotel, and after that they start dating. It’s good. It’s so nice and refreshing seeing characters like this. I don’t know why but I don’t really feel attached to either of them, though it’s an ok love story. I found that by reading this it makes me yearn for other mangas like this. I wish to see more mangas where they show a manly uke. ~ Overall I enjoyed it nicely, definitely not my favorite but it’s still not the worst. Though I don’t think I will be re-reading this ever. Edit: with the second volume I am so much more attached to the characters, I feel their pain and restrictions perfectly, I love it.
Make a Pet Out of a Cactus
Not that great. The art style was really pretty, and it seemed to be nice how they showed what lowkey bdsm looks like. It wasn't really my think though because since this is a short manga that is concentrated on the sex aspect, it wasn't hot and sweaty at all. This felt like the foreplay, nothing big, not at all toe-curling like I was expecting and wanting. ~ Overall, the manga was a bit boring, not memorable and so bland in fact that I couldn't seem to find anything that they did interesting. The whole thing just got me out of any sort of mood this manga was supposed to create. It didn't look wild enough, the art style is too 'professional' for me to feel anything but disappointment. The sex didn't look satisfying at all. Edit- this time I payed more attention to what they were saying and it seems pretty nice, I still am not a fan of the art style but does the guy in glasses look hot. Anyways, the skin isn’t glossy and they aren’t sweating enough to find it to be exactly my liking, but it’s still nice.
