He also worships his feet from that encounter. The guy has his own hardships throughout and is now raising his son alone. Nothing is elaborated on much but that adds to the ambiance. I wish it was longer

Unnecessarily complicated plot: has a crush on his childhood friend then distances him self when the other gets a gf, turn to full on ignoring for years, when they meet again the crush reveals he knew about his feelings and finds out he had sex friends in college, tells him to stop an kisses him before leaving, mc thinks his feelings are mutual but then hears he got a new gf (not true) so he gets his first bf, crush comes back worried from being ignored and confesses that he always also has a crush and felt guilty and leaves to wallow, breaks up with bf and chases after him, happily ever after the end.
