i had very high hopes for this one especially since i particularly enjoyed the author's other work, at the end of the road. the backstory was there, the plot was there, the characterization and development... wasn't? yes, events progress along with character's relationships, but nobody actually becomes better except maybe hamin. in no way was i expecting sehyuk to stop being a bratty bitch, that's his whole allure. i WAS expecting him to perhaps respect the boundaries and wishes of someone he claimed to love. the side stories could've very well taken place during the beginning/middle of the story, before they became a thing, and it wouldn't have been that out of place because sehyuk DOESN'T CHANGE. he just does whatever the fuck he wants, ignores hamin, and then hamin just goes along with it while attempting to draw some lines. i believe the impression is that they're supposed to genuinely like each other in a fairly normal way, even if sehyuk is rather possessive. i feel there are better ways to maintain his characterization while also making their relationship healthy. if the original intent was for them to be kind of fucked up then i didn't get the memo. also from the thumbnail it seems like hamin is supposed to have some control over sehyuk despite his antics, which he does, but far less than intended. idk, overall an attempt was made but i think it fell flat.

a very basic plot, but was mostly enjoyable. at some point i got rather bored of the story tho and im actually glad they didnt try to drag it out much longer after they became an established couple. alpha doesnt like omegas because he was assaulted by one, omega wasnt an omega at the time but it manifested later. omega has a crush on alpha but he's.. an omega and doesn't want to lose him so he hides his 2nd gender and then shenanigans ensue. very basic as you can see but it wasn't bad

ending was perfectly fine imo and it fits the comedy aspect. i don't really care about getting a whole 10 extra chapters where they're happy together or whatever because from my understanding, they'd just act how they always have. relationships don't automatically = lovey dovey 24/7. it'd make much more sense for the characters to act similarly to friends + the romance since they've already known each other for a long time. for a story called "fucked by my best friend" it had a surprisingly interesting plot so i'm happy w it. seems like people complain about everything nowadays

would've been nice if we didn't have that unnecessary ass rape scene. tf is with omegaverse and having the main love interest rape the other one??? like at the very least have it be some other character that experiences consequences. and the rape contributed nothing to the story bc afterwards he was like oh its ok i forgive u haha it was just a silly little mistake and you totally didn't traumatize me or anything. this would've been so. cute. and then it spat in my face.

ngl i dont care for bakudeku or really any ships in mha but this shit was good lmao. unfortunately another one with a rape scene but at the very least it has some significance to driving the plot forward so i can accept it. other than that was actually pretty cute lmao and surprisingly not a lot of smut compared to my expectations
