major 2nd lead syndrome here. i love both male leads theyre so precious and nice to hayeon that i couldnt choose who i wanted to end up w her but for me, id like someone like minwook. hes so sweet and gentle and nice to people and especially to the person he likes romantically. i think it would be nice if i ended up with a guy like that. i love the story, the first half of it before the alien invasion. it was so lighthearted and cute. i liked seeing how woojoon adapted to the human world and followed hayeon earnestly. i liked how he cared for her so much and was almost always there for her. minwook too, all the scenes he had with hayeon, i fangirled over. when minwook came back after being rejected by hayeon, i knew something was up. he was just so weird and i just knew minwook wouldnt act like this. he's not the type of person who would completely change and persistenly chase someone after being rejected. i knew it was jinsung who took control of his body. i felt so uncomfortable reading the scenes where he interacted with hayeon because i just knew there was something off about him. he was still really handsome tho. and i am ashamed to say that i liked that scene where he said he would make hayeon feel good. OH MY GOD. i wouldve caved soooo bad if he did that to me, the hand placement? body placement???? yea... so down bad for pretty faces. i cried at the end. when woojoon left hayeon and when he came back to her in his mind to tell her to live her life happily without minding him too much. he loved her so much im gonna cry bro fuck. and im so grateful to the author for putting that little epilogue in the afterword to show that hayeon is gonna end up with minwook. i guess in the end there was no 2nd lead syndrome hahaha. im happy with the ending. eventhough its sad, i think its for the best.
