one of the most beautiful and deep manhwas ive read. left me absolutely crying and bawling at just how breathtaking the writing was, the way the characters were slowly introduced and intertwined, it all felt bizarre. never once was i bored reading this, i was always on the edge of my seat. first the onions seemed like a silly gag to back up a character but the more you read the more heartbroken and amazed you are. such a sad and grim story turned out to have a tremendous amount of depth, a depth so deep that it leaves a scar thatll never fade. the real use of human emotions and not some fake scenarios where it seems like people are dolls and mindless. shevonnes emotions felt real and valid, despising and hating lewellyn for ever getting involved and hating himself for having a weak heart and always giving in. slowly but surely falling in love with lewellyn all over again even after having everything known about him erased. at first lewellyn seemed so mysterious and dangerous, a person shavonne shouldnt even begin acknowledging, but after reading his past you feel a deep hurt and remorse for him, not even pity but a pit in your stomach, just how kind and brave he still is after all this time. the plot was breathtaking, every minor detail had an enormous growth and it wasnt added for no reason. the more you read the more you get emotionally drained and invested in the characters you so deeply wish to get what they want and to achieve their dream. it sometimes felt so hopeless, a depressed and drained writer with a scarred and deeply in love murderer sleeping in one bed and embracing one another. their moments didnt need to be explicit, it was so beautiful how their intimate moments weren't highlighted by nudity or smut but by their sheer love for one another. no matter how hard they tried, they could never stop that love from rushing back into them and engulfing them once again. their love was what saved them from the most depressing and sad life. they were saved by one another.
