Gekkou Spice
Interesting set of fairytale-like stories, it doesn't really feel like any of them truly had a happy ending, "somber" might be a better word to describe them.
Mashikaku Rock
All the stories were truly amazing,... They ranged from cute and "sunshiny" to dark and thought-provoking. Definitely became a favourite.
Hana to Rakurai
This is such a beautiful story, slow-paced but it leaves you feeling like every moment matters. Inspiring message, a bit heartbreaking on the second half but truly fulfilling ending. Beautiful.
Ryuu no Hanawazurai
Oh man... Normally I'm quite put off by those "triangles", but... Oh boy... I know that Lucien TOTALLY deserved having his love reciprocated, he was loyal and trustworthy and reliable, even when his affections were being shunned. And I know that Kuwan really, truly betrayed her from the very start, also that thing with Amaranth toooootally does NOT sit well with me, yet I can't seem to want him to stay with her. Even though he wasn't the GOOD suitor, he was more like a Lawful Neutral perhaps? He's still the one I root for. After a couple of years I reread this story and it's funny how this time I rooted for Lucien instead of Kuwan hahah I mean, Kuwan did say that he loved both the Princess and Amaranth, and while the Princess loved both Kuwan and Lucien, Lucien himself only loved the Princess; it would be rather lonely for him if he was cast aside :P
Dinner in my Coffin
I've reread this story a couple of times, yet I still feel like I'm about to tear up when I'm getting to the end. Seriously, screw that town, he should've stayed with her instead :/
Boku No Hitsugi De Bansan O
Beautiful short stories with no happy endings.
Meguru Kakuutei
Main story was pretty interesting, it's a good contender to turn into a longer series for sure... Second story was cute and funny, Sen definitely put a smile on my face at the end :D
The Recipe for Gertrude
Pretty good story, I like that things got settled for the most part. I think I would have liked to see more of her "brother's" struggle between his wife and the girl, the few moments I could see it really got my heart aching for some reason. I kind of felt a bit put off that the last volume consisted only of side stories and oneshots that didn't even have anything to do with the main story (took 1 star out from that).
Land Of Silver Rain
Even if the art-style wasn't my type, I think it worked well for such a High Fantasy story. I did enjoy the story, even despite the "not as exciting" chapters depicting their lives in the Human World :) I'm really glad that the Great King of Darkness was released from feeding like he had to live in punishment. I liked him a lot. Hope Hanbit found peace for himself as well.
