Bookworm girl is sent to be the assistant of her uncle, a former writer and part-time detective. I kind of get the feeling it's gonna be quite bittersweet, if not a tragedy. So far it's all just speculation, but the author has a great way to get me to really feel for the characters and something in the back of my head tells me it's just to get me to feel a strong reaction when something happens to them. I WANT MORE! ch 6

The life story is two boys who were friends and rivals, then a couple, then parents. They remained faithful and loyal to each other, despite all kinds of troubles, gender changes, discrimination, identity crisis, life threats and more.

The story of three friends / live rivals / lovers as they wade through middle school life while dealing with a lot of personal-made-public issues. I quite enjoyed all the cameos from the characters from the original series. While I really LOVE their focus on gender identity issues, my ONE complaint is that it seems to be implied that the normal thing for a female is to be attracted to males; that no matter what, eventually an emerged female would end up feeling attracted to a male. The original story short of had given the idea that the emerged girl had originally had feelings for the boy before she had emerged; this story kind of trampled on that by having that same girl (now as a married adult) say that over time the mind would "catch up to the female body and hormones and that it would eventually be attached to males".

Absolutely adorable. It started out a bit too slow and episodic, but eventually the writer seemed to find the right pace. Definitely one I plan on rereading at some point.

I would have imagined that the anime was behind the manga, but it seems to be the other way around. At least up to what has been scanlated so far. I do hope the manga goes beyond where the anime ended... Ch 57

Great story, I loved the characters and its moments of comedy. I bawled nonstop when he was back in Pompeii, I think the story wrapped up nicely and there was a good conclusion to the main characters. Definitely worthy of being reread!

Calm and collected Sensei inadvertently caught his student's attention when he was seen being kissed by his boyfriend. Student, carelessly mentioned his desire to get a blowjob while on a drunken rant and the teacher took it as a request to trade for his silence; he didn't plan that the student would come to enjoy it as much as he did.

Beautiful short story about falling in love for the first time when you think you have no chance.
