Lion and Venus
I love the violence here. The art is good. Character designs, good. The concept is great and the storyline is a little messy, but it's good enough for a short story. Can you believe it's the 4th story I've read in 2 hours? That's how much I've been craving these short but beautiful stories. Anyway, another short one. Twas fun while it lasted. Could've had more side stories though. Some authors are just so stingy.
RESTART (Harada)
The hell? It's too short for something this heavy!
Life Senjou no Bokura
Uwaaaaaaggggghhhhh I expected to cry. I really did. I didn't expect to cry THIS much. I cried for 3 chapters and I cried some more. Why the hell did they have to include the part where they grew old, one had to die first, leaving the other? I was like, "You left him again!" Had to cry a lot of times. I'm crying even right now! I didn't like the cowardice of the Seme. I suppose it's understandable since they were together since they were young. They were bound to doubt their relationship. That's the downsides of marrying or dating young. You don't really know if your love is real or you just got swept away by your youth and the years together just ties you down. I was like, "You hurt Yuki, you coward!" To the Seme. I mean, did you guys see Yuki's eyes?! They were full of life and when Akira said they should break up, the light just went out in his eyes and his face lost all emotions. It hit me real hard how hurt he was. It's actually pissing me off a bit because the chasing arc wasn't that satisfying. Also, the damage that the Seme did after it all. He hurt not just one person, but also his wife. If he had just talked it out and fixed it with the Uke, he wouldn't have had to involve his ex-wife. Now he's someone who hurt two significant people in his life just because of his fear and selfishness This was too realistic I cannot not be carried away with my emotions. I'm not gonna read this again unless I want my heart broken! Anyways, the art is good, the concept is wonderful. So realistic! And the plot is magnificent! It's a golden story with a wholesome plot and I'll be danged if I ever read this again because I'm dehydrating from the tears.
NEXT STEP
Didn't like it as much. I think it's the couple. I don't like them. The Uke's too narrow-minded, who the hell thinks they can survive through college without a friend or two? Even though we don't like it, we socialize to survive. The other guy was right. Socializing and befriending is not something as easy as a natural ability, it's a skill. It's a good thing he managed to learn about it before the story ended. I also didn't like the Seme much. He's subconsciously using the Uke to flatter himself, to make him feel good. He never made any effort to be with him as more than just a friend, which made the Uke lonelier than he was already. Prick thinks he could have the Uke whenever he wants and when he wasn't, that's when he realized how wrong he was. The art is alright. The concept, not so much. Just ticked me off because I don't like the characters much. In all honesty I would've wanted the other couple more. They're more interesting as characters and I believe it'd be more fun to read their love story instead of this one. Author should answer my wishes and make them their own story .
Iiko no Furi wa mou Yameru
They're so cute! I want more!!!
The goal is to be self-made
I expected it to be childish and uninteresting. To be honest, I actually intended to read a few chapters and quit if I don't find it great. At the very first chapter, I almost quit then and there but I stayed for respect's sake. I never expected I'd read it until the latest chapter. It was really good if you give it time. The concept is unique and interesting. She played not as one of the main characters of the game, but as an advisor. Not the usual female lead, which is the first I've read. I don't understand how some of the comments under this story thought it's childish and common when it's this interesting. I admit some parts have high schooler vibes but it's reasonable to some extent, so I continued the journey. There were some plotholes and lack of information, like her family background, or at least how many years her mother was married to each of her husbands and the reason why they divorced. I also wanted to know about her fellow advisor, the dark magician, and if they were possessed by the villainous dark magician or she IS that person. The art is good. The character designs are alright. At first it gave high schooler vibes but it grew on me. And the ML is SO FINE. He's 19 but why so hot though
The Price of Breaking Up
Okay, it's not good. For me at least. The concept is fine, not good, not bad, just mediocre. The art though. Ugh. I'd do anything to be with the older brother. He's ML material. I was really devastated when they gave him a match in the story. They should've let him stay single and give him for us readers to fantasize about. The character designs are good. But the storyline? Not so much. The pacing is too poor. They had to drag the story just for the FL to settle her feelings for Ex but the elements added in between to keep the readers entertained is not fun at all. They don't make sense and does not contribute to the story either. I'm talking about her recruiting a foreign child from the slums only to forget her in the next chapter. They also forgot Nivea, the girl who was supposedly the chosen one who snatched the FL's position. The story forgot her existence entirely like a cockroach. Honestly, the writing is bad for me but the art is too good to pass up so I read and read. Didn't make me feel any better at all. The couple didn't feel like a couple, even if ot did, their romance wasn't interesting. They also moved past the ML's manipulations and the things the FL suffered because of them. Like some kind of a plot armor. FL also fell too fast. It honestly felt like she never learned from her mistake and fell for another toxic guy. Girl's a psycho magnet. I would honestly enjoy this much better had they just made the older brother the main character. Not with her of course, but with someone else and feature their romance. Or better yet, a story featuring their parents' story! I bet they'd be more exciting to read. Their parents are a fun couple I would invest a story into. Honestly, I didn't enjoy this story. It had bad writing, poor character choices, and a plot armor on the ML. Too bad, the art was astonishing too.
Kill the Hero
Like, is that it??? That's the end???!! So uneventful! The end just got me disappointed, like, why are there no sufficient punishment for the Messiah guild? Esp. that dang blondie who pretends to be hero? I want justice. I want the author to finish the story better and this ain't it! It's hella disappointing! I didn't know that this was marked as completed until today. TO.DAY. How. In the world. Is this story. Effin' COMPLETE?! Arrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!! This is stressin' me out. I was like HUHH?!
Vivarium
Yeah, got bored and was uninterested the longer I read. So I am out.
