The Young Lady is A Royal Chef

Ongoing | Risha,Paya | 2020 released

Okay, this was so sad. I just decided to drop with story. At first, I really enjoyed it. Like, for real. I really felt the pain she went through, in BOTH LIVES no less. Both lives she was bullied and singled out. I cannot imagine how much emotional pain she went through and how stressful it was for her. I really liked how she's passionate about cooking, and even felt happy when her family started to basically grovel to her to get her attention. It was going well until I started to take off my rose tinted glasses. I read some comments about how she forgave her family too fast and it made me realize how true that was. She was hurt and the other Seniana was so cornered that she attempted to kill herself multiple times until she succeeded and was replaced by the FL. That says a lot about her family. They may not have abused her directly, but they ignored her calls for help, albeit indirectly, until she could no longer take it. I mean, she was failing in school, regularly threw tantrums, and wasn't open to communication. You'd think that as a family who loves her they'd actually figure out that she needs their help but instead chose to ignore her and isolate her. They changed how they treated her after FL took over. Which means they only grew to love her when she came instead of the first Seniana. Really feel bad for her. I also hate how the story is cooking. It's losing the essence. It's titled "The Young Lady is a Royal Chef" but the story is not even centered on that. They added a lot of elements that I could barely keep up. Like the Saint part and more magical fantasy additions that barely made any sense to the story itself. They should've just focused on the cooking and FL's independence. I bet that would've been more entertaining. Anyways, it's been a long ride but I've had enough. Gave it a chance when it strayed from its original path but the story is just not cooking. Anyways, I'm out. Never coming back again. It's been a good few years.

I Failed to Divorce My Husband

Ongoing | 럭키고릴라,Haloje | 2019 released

The art is good and the story---it's fricking awesome! I also love that they didn't have any problems with their friendships, like there are no love and business rivals, just true friendship. I especially love that the crown prince hit the ML with a book in the head just so his memories could come back. I mean, damn! Get a friend who's both angry and concerned that you'll regret hurting your beloved wife just because of memory loss! I also love that the couple are not interested in the throne. It's always the same cliche plotline where the ML and a prince fight for the FL's love. This one is just wholesome for me. The couple are strong by themselves but they are invincible when together. Can't wait to read more!

I’m Worried that My Brother is Too Gentle

Ongoing | 류희온,이수호 | 2019 released

Meh The story's got a lot of holes and the art on the characters are too weird that it got to the point where I'm puzzled since it stated that she's still 8 or 12 but she looks 14. Seriously even her brain functions like a kid when she was a working person for 8 years before she transmigrated. Didn't like it so I'mma drop this.

I Became the Younger Sister of a Regretful Obsessive Male Lead

Ongoing | Purple Lemon,Debin | 2000 released

I genuinely DID find this interesting at first. When I got too excited, like I always do, I try to skip to the recent chapters to get a preview on what will happen in the future of the story. In this case, I did and it immediately turned me off. The ML is definitely an obsessive male lead even in the original story, HOWEVER, I thought for sure that he'll change because of the FL. Turns out he still became an obsessive and possessive punk. He locked the FL up, not as obvious, but he banned her from going out and made sure she didn't see other people, even her servants. The FL is also, still scared and guilty, of the fact that she stole someone else's body, that she breaks up with the ML for her anxiety. Like, grow up dude. Most FL's that have a backstory tend to become mentally stronger than other people so I thought she would be too. Disappointed, really. And to think, the original owner of her body died early, I mean, you stopped that from happening. Is it not your right to own the body that you tried so hard to take care of? It's also curious that she let her anxiety get the best of her that she didn't even consider the ML's feeling when she broke up with him just like that, they were engaged too. The entire family clearly has psychological problems, from abusing his son for looking like his dad, to a depressed wife, an extremely obsessive male lead, to a female lead who has anxiety. If I were in her shoes, I'd be busy running away. Clearly, what she did didn't help the ML and not even for her.

I'm a Villainess But I Became a Mother

Ongoing | 시세 sisse | 2019 released

Go to the other alternative title. They have better scanlations there. I felt like I had a stroke while reading the entire story and it was too late when I found out there was a better one.
