+1 star for Mob A (and Mob B). It's just as the story says, no need for words. The same applies to the friend who noticed that the 2 MCs are going out without them telling anyone, and he just supports them as much as he could without revealing it so as not to make them uncomfortable. Then there's also Mob B who noticed something. He's not as sharp as Mob A, but I love a true friend who worries about his friends. They also noticed the fake smile but didn't bother changing it directly, which is both bad and good, because they understand that he must've some reason for it.

Ch 1-2: about a detective who's guilty about his incompetence which resulted in his partner's eyes getting damage... but then it seems like his partner's eyes are already fine, why is he hiding it though? Pretty boring tbh. 4/10. Ch 3: A man who wants to be a shirobai can't pass the exam, but he's too determined to give up. Enter a new student who's doing well. Apparently, the new student knows the mc way before hence why enrolled. What connects them? Cute, but lacking as a one-shot. It'd probably be better if it had 2 chapters. 6/10. Ch 4-5: A policeman who's bored in life has his attention caught by a man who's always standing by the sea, staring at nothingness. He wants to learn more about the man, and the opportunity comes in the most unexpected way - the man's brother is connected to some criminal organization. Is this how they finally connect? It's heartwarming. The metaphor (about him getting a tug from a fish) reaaally made it good. But what made it better is his organizer. Hehehe. 7/10.

currently at ch 27.002 A bit shotacon but I love how the seme is trying to control himself because, yeah, he's not a shotacon. I'm kinda amazed and annoyed by Ren's (woah, I still remember his name after N years) pushiness though. I'm rather surprised that even after a year or so, this manga is still at ch 33. .-.

This is unrelated to the story, but this story will always have a special place in my heart. I mean, I already love it as it already. It's just that... I started reading this because a friend of mine recommended this to me. He was part of the scanslation team (he's the proofreader for some chapters, and I'm really happy to see his name there). He just died recently, and it still hasn't sunk in at all. Not at all. Even though it's already been a month. Or only been a month, I guess. I miss you, Zehi. === Edit: (it's been, idk, 9 months?) Idk, I'm turned off by the sudden sex scene. Like, why? Although in general, the pacing is too fast. Might be because it's such a short manga

If anything, it's the story's execution and pacing that brings the story about. The story is really simple and arguably cliche, but because of the story-telling, it doesn't seem that way at all.
