*spoiler-ish* I LOVE HOW THERE WAS NO CONTROVERSY WHEN WAKI CONFESSED ON LIVE TV. HUHUHU Edit: okay, I finally read vol 2 and apparently even though the confession got good feedback, they still denied the confession (ie Waki is not gay, Waki is single). Eh, classic tv politics ig. Now I feel bad for feeling happy about it The mom still irks me. At some point, she shows qualities of a good and funny mom (like being overly nosy why Waki has a big specially-made lunch box and offering to eat dinner every now and then), but she's still overall a bad mom. If she ever shows up more in the story, I hope she gets more character development. And yeah, kinda weird that Waki and the mom were being shipped together because there's at least about 18 years age gap (actually maybe at least 9 if she's really young when she conceived Waki /j. She's probably at least 18 at the time since the flashbacks showed her to be a grownup and the story implied that she just chose her career over her child, nothing about regrets of conception because she's too young). Though tbh, from what I've seen irl, it's possible to have TV pairings with that kind of age gap (or even a bigger one), but it's not that famous. It only exists when the story (tv show, movie or whatever) calls for it. So it kinda feels like ukie being Waki's mom and co-host at the same time was just done so both plots of ~dating controversy~ and ~Waki backstory development~ can be squeezed into the same volume.

This was so cute I love how Reo is supportive of them. I actually want to see more of Reo and Arata's interactions afterwards. Even just as extras!

...It's fine? Fluffy. But the dude using his daughter to get closer (altho revealed she's got a gf pala) isn't okay for me. I also kinda pitied the side dude, but torpe siya so meh. 5/10

This was sooooo cute! I got diabetes! 3 stars because apparently I've read this recently and forgot to mark it as read. I didn't notice until the last few pages of ch2/first story ;; That's honestly the only part I remember for the first story along with the extra chapter. The second story is also a bit forgettable. I remember chapter 3, but not the others ;;

Ch 1: "no kink in the world could compare to the power of love". Soooo cute. 9/10 Ch 2-3: A story on ch 1's MC's colleagues. Title story; synopsis. This was funny but chill. Cliche af, but I love the pacing and script. Admittedly not a romance-based relationship, but it works. 7/10 Ch 4-6: What I liked about the story is the reality of a gay man depending on his ex for the sole reason of not wanting to be lonely, despite the unhealthiness of their non-committal relationship. On the other hand, the love between the main couple does not seem to be fleshed out as much as that scenario. 5/10 Average: 7/10
