Kimi Ni Yoseru Blue
Last story deserves a 5 star, but the other 3 stories are just so-so. Ch 1 and 2-3 (is it really 2 chapters in one?) is about a transferee and his classmate. Pretty chill, though a tidbit cliche and bland. I liked how their friend knows about them just through intuition, and how he just kept quiet instead of causing drama. Ch 4 is um... idk if it's the translation or if it's just really short so the story felt like it went at the speed of light. A guy attending his unrequited love's wedding meets his senpai at the wedding. Senpai offered to be his rebound back in high school, and again now after the wedding. Then all of a sudden, MC says he actually couldn't forget senpai (as if he's in love with senpai), and that's it. That's just it. Didn't really feel any emotions from the MC nor the senpai. Ch 5 is a fantasy story about a kitsune and a dying monk. A lil bittersweet, but a lil too short. Ch 6 is the best in this anthology, which isn't just because all the other 3 are not good. I can't say anything without spoiling it though.
Gokudou no Oshi Men
It was kinda funny at first, but it felt boring towards the end. A dark comedy that lacks in humor
Hitotsu no Futon ni Yarou ga Futari
Dropped at ch 5. Felt flat and repetitive. A comedy that didn't make me laugh.
Furete, Aishite, Dakishimete
I find it cute and amazing how 2 of these author's stories got connected through this manga. First story was fine. It's super short (ch 1-2), so it went too fast too furious. The MC's trauma just disappeared ~with the power of love~... which I didn't even feel. Ch 3-4 are extras from Ijiwaru Shinai de. I'm happily surprised that they can be a standalone story. I'm saying this because I genuinely don't remember anything about that manga (though I got the vibe that I read ch3 before (it's ch 5.5 in the original)). Still... Same comment. Too short to get into it. Also, since it's an extra/sequel, we don't really get any seme x seme drama since they already have their roles assigned from the original. The third story, a one-shot unlike the other two-chapter stories, is ironically the one that has the best pacing (except for the sudden bj lol, it just had to had smut so it's there for that reason).
Usagi to Neko no Hatsujou Jijou
Seme is so horny when he doesn't even have horns. Pffft Short one-shot. A lil too fast for my taste and the smut isn't even good.
Folklore no Gochisou
This is my 2nd reread (1st is because I simply forgot to mark it as read on mggo (it's on my chrome bookmarks tho lol; I just knew I read this because of the author), 2nd is because I forgot my 1st reread... which was a few minutes earlier). Can't say the story sticks to me at all
Moudoku Sugar Syrup
Nice descriptive tag this manga has. Smh at the ones who are mad at the uke cheating when he was hungry, citing that he can endure his hunger in the second time he was hungry. It was his first offense and he learned from that experience and changed. Yet that isn't enough? And if we've read the same manga, you should've seen that when he was hungry the second time, he's shown to be too weak when he's hungry? If you want to say that during the first time, he wasn't that weak yet, maybe you've forgotten the seme wasn't supposed to return that night because his stay was extended (and then got cut short) - which if you think about it, if it already got suddenly extended, who's to say it wouldn't be extended again? Or what, you want the uke to die of hunger just to keep his goddamn relationship? Ngl, that would be a good angst plot.
Ameiro Curriculum
Kinda wish his boss+wife made more appearances; I love how his coworker is supportive of him and how his boss's wife is too.
