Emperor, Stay Here, Your Knight's Getting Off Work
Comedy that's sometimes hits, sometimes misses. It certainly misses a lot for me. Aaaaaand, I don't really like the characters that much. Only the king and the baron are the ones I can say I like, the others are so-so. The "fiancee" joke lasted for only a chapter, so he didn't get any character development aside from being the king's confidant which doesn't even make sense since they're pretty much strangers (I mean, I don't expect the confidant to be the baron or anyone in the castle because he's still the king and has to keep up appearances, but his friendship with the "fiancee" has no buildup). The merchant is eh. The bodyguard has a punchable face (even after realizing his feelings, I don't think he actually understands how his past actions hurt the king. Granted, it's a comedy, but damn. He sucks as a guard (ch 1's assassination attempt with the guards slacking off and not repenting), and as a lover (he rejected him like it was nothing, then when he got rejected, he acts like his world broke down. He then planned to confess + reject the king just to get petty revenge. Why the revenge? Did you ever think about your past rejection?). I'm just going to keep reading because I'm curious about the king's and baron's past.
See You at the Crosswalk
I've read this until ch 21 (accg to my bm) but I barely remember anything except that it's cringey
Ore to Kacho no Shujukankei
It's just... Meh. The second story MC was cute though, a pansexual.
Suezen ni Kiss
Eh, it's fine. The ass was nicely drawn tho
Suda-kun no Himitsu
The near-rape scene between the mc and the creep felt unnecessary. It's just a plot device to make the mc realize his feelings, even though he's already starting to realize it. The issue with the creep isn't solved either. He's a stalker and a molester. He needs an actual punishment more than a punch. I doubt he'd stop harassing the mc just because he got punched. That said, this is set in Japan and sexual harassment laws there is pretty... eh. Though tbh, it's like that for many countries anyway. While I understand the reason why stalking isn't easily accepted as a criminal offense (esp because you need to prove that you're being stalked, and it's not just a "coincidence" or whatever shit the stalker can come up with), it really feels shitty not being able to do anything about it. Even for the harassment case, he can't sue the creep because he doesn't have any proof (the molester did touch him, but didn't leave anything to prove it (i.e. semen, proof of being forcefully penetrated, etc), and there's no witness. It really feels shitty that the creep gets to run away from his crimes without punishment. Otherwise, it's just the usual short manga. It's cute, yes, but not really outstanding. And I agree with the other comment, it's the kind of story that doesn't really need a sex scene. And imo, it made the story worse because the mc just realized his feelings because he did it with the seme and liked it (well, it was kinda consensual. The seme did touch him before asking permission, but he did ask, and stopped when he was rejected) when the molester tried to do the same (which is obviously non-consensual, hence the term molester) and didn't like it, he automatically just assumed that he liked the seme. Just because he doesn't want to be raped. Mhmm, yeah, good logic right there. Or maybe I've just read way too many better mangas so this doesn't look good to me.
Emergency Stairway
Can't we just murder the hell out of the younger brother? The uke is too much of a romantic, and the seme is too much of a workaholic (no thanks to his shitty brother). The seme is kinda a dick, though it's shown how his personality is just like that since he can't be bothered trying to be nice when his life is a shithole (again, no thanks to his brother) to the point where he actually prostituted himself just to get by. So yeah, he ain't nice for a one-night stand (first meeting) which is actually... fine and understandable? And ofc he doesn't want to be nice to the uke when he feels like shit prostituting himself. I kinda wish there's more though. The uke seems to be determined to win over the seme, though the seme will probably be hard to win over since he thinks he's just a toy for the uke.
Like Two Peas in a Pod
I feel bad for Yuka. Damn Tanaka cheating on her and kissing Nakata, use your brains a little, bruh. I like the mirror effect (?) in the story - the way Nakata found out he liked Tanaka was because of Yuka and Tanaka found out he liked Nakata because of Futaba. I hope Yuka finds a new and actual love soon.
Katakoi Lamp
Justice for Kyosuke Ngl, the love square felt unnecessary. It's like it's just there for the uke to realize his feelings. It also came out of the blue. Though at least it became a good source of banter for the two - still feels unfair for Kyosuke being the love adviser for his unrequited love.
