this story is.... okay. like the plot is okay and pacing is fine, the art is nice and the characters are alright. there's no specific part that i majorly dislike and i'd consider it an easy read. considering the length, i didn't get bored and drop it either. but i wouldn't class this as good either, it was a little lackluster like there was a lot build up but the climax was pretty short and honestly disappointing, and the plot twist was also pretty obvious imo so didn't hold much impact on me. anyways i wouldn’t say it was the worse i ever read but i definitely wouldn’t reread this one. but if you're bored and want a simple but longer fantasy romance story then this story is alright..

But he did explain to his son that by seeing how talented main is out of the sect, there is potential to grow the sect with their influence and be paid back more bc essentially both merchant and sect will grow exponentially when they help each other. They see potential in main to ressurect the dead sect and be impactful to the world Ch 29 after struggling with expelling the demonic qi from the merchant, he successfully cured him. Main thought the demonic arts were still active but the suspect said he found the book on a dead person and practiced it. And since its been a yr of the merchant being ill and no one from the demonic qi popped up to take advantage of the situation, main concludes there is no more demonic artists like back in his days Ch 20 next issue is the businesses they can't run since most merchants left when they got kicked out. Sects know how to do martial arts but not business. Main heard there was a very wealthy merchant who sponsors many places but he's currently on his sickbed and his son is asking the sect for help Ch 16-17 after main saved the sect from the debt issue and even showed the technique books as if he just found them elsewhere, mains body was injured from using his inner qi to open the door of the secret vault so he remembered he stashed some pills in his secret cave Ch 7 ahhh main got more info when he went masked up to a merchant and bc of mains fight with another sect and they burned some buildings, the account books were also burned so the evidence of the businesses owned by the sect were gone so the merchants overtime went rogue and operated individually since the sect did lose their known name and ability to show their worth so the sect was in debt with the merchants as they had to sell sect buildings to keep operational and the merchants happy since they r operating in the village down the mountain. So basically current sect is screwed bc they dont pay back the loans and high interests with their less known name and profit while the merchants got greedy and would sell the sect properties to known enemies that wants to see the sect fall Ch 4 after getting back into the once known sect, it lost its position as one of the best sects bc of main. Main causes trouble in the past and it impacted the sect. Main was horrified how the students now r taught the wrong techniques and therefore no talent is being created in the sect. So he will train the newbies with what he knows and bring back the sects name
