A Saintess Who Was Adopted By The Grand Duke
Like A Wind On A Dry Branch
Love how the world building focuses on the historical aspect, and the troubles that accompany it (slavery, misogyny, class divide, inheritance battle, etc...) without the fantasy aspect being neglected or overpowering the historical vibe. Gives the story a unique feel to it as its not just another 'copy and paste' of typical isekai/Fantasy world without depth. Even how the characters speak and body language carefully reflects their status and tells the reader a lot about their background. Absolutely adore how the characters are written and the overall maturity of the plot and themes. Both leads have their individual traumas, and acknowledge this and help each other to move on and heal. Slow burn romance done right! The ML is so gentle and considerate towards the FL, and it's amazing to see their relationship grow and change over the chapters. Everything from the confession to the marriage proposal is so heart warming. Some parts of the plot are confusing, bit of an info dump but make more sense over time. Found on webtoon. Amazing art and translation. Definitely my favourite romance series. 100/10.
