I don’t like the ML at all. I get that the FL’s body used to belong someone who was selfish and pushy but his switch up was too quick and it’s really annoying how he attaches himself to FL like the crusty barnacle he is. Series would be redeemable with a completely different ML. I vote for the knight.

The “romance” aspect of this was terrible. The ML is totally unlikeable and a POS. So you’re telling me you fell in love with the ex-wife you neglected and mistreated because you slept with her under an alternate persona for a couple months? The real true happy ending of this story would be his dick rotting off. Oh, and smut isn’t all that. Story is a load of mid made worse by the existence of such an ML.

This is a banger (and I know bangers). Genuinely had a great plot. Came here for smut without looking at tags, got absolutely none of it, but I am still a very happy customer. As for the complaints about the seme; I get it. Up until the very end I side-eyed him a lot. He’s incredibly manipulative and possessive but, hey, all’s well that ends well.
