Don’t Call Me Sister
DNF idk it's just kinda strange. None of their actions, feelings, or goals seem to match up nor are they fully explained. Also she has a badass appearance so I thought she'd be like that but she isn't
Beast with Flowers
DNF- Idk I hate when ML is an absolute slut & FL is rly innocent. It doesn't even make sense for her to act this innocent & not understand sexual innuendo, since she had a baby in her past life. It's like author just wanted her to fit the mold they use for FLs in these types of stories bc it rly makes no sense. Also, I don't care if either of them sleep around, but they should at least be discreet & not have a bunch of rumors floating around them because of it. It's good to have experience, but keep it private. It's low-key embarrassing for her bc he has such a bad reputation.
Sincerely: i Became a Duke’s Maid
Dropping at 76. FL is so uninteresting. She doesn't actually have any positive traits. She has no ambition, talents, intelligence, goals, etc. Even the fact that she's kind isn't really that true. She's only nice to the ML bc she liked him so much in the novel. She has no strong feelings about people getting beat up & killed, even if she doesn't know their story, & she never actually helps anyone else. Also, she has no modern-day entertainment methods, but it takes her years to learn to read at a kindergarten level? She never wanted to learn anything at all??? She doesn't do much of anything unless she's told to- the story just happens around her. She really just acts like an extra. Well, most characters seem very superficial, not just her.
The Duchess with an Empty Soul
DNF- skimming since ch 70-something to 99 It's too slow. She decides to play the "long game" against the ppl who betray her, but rly she could've dealt with them in like... a single day. It seems that they needed it to be longer but didn't want to actually add to the plot. Not only that, but during the demon subjugation she doesn't reveal her 2 strongest beasts bc "it's not time" but she gives NO good reason for this. Knights needlessly die & get hurt bc she wants to take revenge slowly, yet author wants you to think she's this good-hearted, saintess-like FL. She judges others for letting ppl die for their selfish wants, yet she does the same. Innocent lives are lost bc rather than exposing Baron Griz herself, she wants him to fall on his own. Since the plot is drawn out & relatively uneventful, I would've liked to see a deeper look into the relationship progression, but instead it's just "they saw me as a person instead of a tool so I'm immediately in love" for both of them. At first I kept reading bc the mystery of the cloaked person's identity & motivations was compelling, but it's become too tedious.

Playthings
DNF The plot is so flimsy it feels like a child wrote this, and the lousy translation doesn't help
