Even Though I’m the Villainess, I’ll Become the Heroine!
It's not bad, it's readable if you ignore things here and there. The backstory of FL and her bully from school being reincarnated as the villainess and heroine from a book FL read is interesting. But honestly, it gets kinda boring for me. I thought she wanted revenge, but she seems to forget about that in the latest chapters and just does whatever? She isn't taking advantage of her knowledge about the novel contents, and so far she only used it to brag about it to her hubby. I don't understand why she has to wait for the Emperor and Noel to fall in love either. Dahlia could've stomped on her sister's (aka bully reincarnated) reputation long ago, but she never even tried to do that (or even acknowledged that she could) and just passively accepted Florre's salt while expecting the novel to develop the way she read it, and I guess she's waiting for whatever moment happened in the novel to sabotage, ig? We don't even know where in the novel we are, and Dahlia doesn't want to think about that either. And ngl, the characters have little to no depth- mostly just FL and her reincarnated bully. The first few chapters FL was a bit edgy and insecure bc of her past life trauma, but she just seems to forget about that and slips into being the perfect aristocrat smile wearing confident and smart villainess in no time at all. Her being fragile/sickly is also portrayed badly imo. I don't expect her to go cough up blood every chapter, but I literally didn't even know she was sickly until ML mentioned it. Also, why is Florre so out to beat Dahlia (aka FL) down and get "revenge" before she even knows about the novel and the roles they play? Would be nice to get more of her perspective in general tbh. She just feels like a mean girl, and not even a worthy rival bc her flaws are so obvious and her motives shallow af. The whole focus of Dahlia getting revenge also starts to feel lowkey petty bc of Florre's attitude. The story is set upto portray this grand revenge against the bully mean girl that made FL commit suicide, but feels kind of all over the place to me. Maybe it'll change in later chapters, but rn the novel is just finding excuses to make FL and ML be together while being lazy with story progress.
Lady Baby
So, the story is about Lippe and how she is yeeted back in time, to where she was a baby, after witnissing war and the destruction of her family. The first bit of the story is so interesting and pulls on your heartstrings real good. But then it slowly morphs into Lippe becoming an idol type of figure who focuses on introducing non-religious singing to ppl? At first she's like, only a model or whatever, and you're like "yea, I guess that's a good base to build up influence and stuff" and then you see her go on to starting her singing career and it turns into "wait, what about x, y and z thing that was/will be happening? There isn't even anything plot important happening (the most drastic thing is ML and her fluffing up to one another?), so why are we still here? This whole idol side quest or whatever just takes away from how emotional and serious the looming future will be- and when put into context with what already happened and what will probably happen, it feels so out of left field. Then there's occaisional moments where you question wth Lippe is even thinking lol- little errors of logic if u will, completely caused by this hyperfocus on her pop star quest. To be blunt: going from her witnissing the tradegy of war and the loss of all her loved ones, to basically grinding to become the first ever Brittney Spears, is way too random. Maybe some people can process it better, but for me it's just confusing af. Honestly, it just feels like a cheap way to fill the plot with irrelevant events, while baiting you with the well established mysteries from the first chapters. And to add onto my rant: Calliope is a total Mary Sue. At first her being so loved and slay made sense and pulled on my heart strings. After all she returned to the past with her adult mind in tact, to her loving family. But man, it gets so tiring and obvious with that whole singing thing. It feels like the author stopped caring about any established plot after the church and this cleansing thing is explained. "Hey, we got the basics down now, now start with the AU fanfic filler plot so we can rival One Piece's chapter sizes!" Honestly, the only reason why I'm not giving this 2 stars is because I have respect for the first chapters.
The Princess Pretends to Be Crazy
So far it's pretty good, just the sometimes wonky translated chapters can be hella confusing and throw me off tbh. It's also kinda annoying how FL and ML have to constantly tell each other and the readers that they're hot shit. I mean, they are, but I feel like a lot of content is wasted on just them talking away and playing useless mindgames while actual stuff could be happening. Also also: Personally, the title is kinda- how to say... -badly worded? At least I thought it's gonna center around FL pretending to be mad (and dunking on people with that or whatever), like the title says obviously, but as of now it seems to be more so just a single situation within a small time frame of the story which is basically entirely unrelated to the plot and will only minimally, if not even, impact the future events. Since this is only the beginning, later chapters might iron that out but as of now- that's my take on the whole shabam.
I Became the Wife of the Male Lead
You know the drill, FL gets reincarnated into the young body of the future villainess and tries to avoid death flags. Honestly, it doesn't stand out from any other of the 100 or so shoujo isekai so far (besides the pretty art maybe)... but am I still gonna read the shit out of this? Thank you very much, I will. I like that the storyline doesn't get stuck on chewing through FL's entire childhood like a boring daily sidequest and has a decent flow to it. Like, we are cutting right into the meat, which should tell you that the plot is gonna be at least decent and thought out. The only thing I want to complain about is FL's blindness to having ML crushing all over her for probably most of their childhood together, and home girl being blind af to that, despite clearly retaining the mind of a woman who lived during the 21st century. For the love of god, I hope the author doesn't make the mistake of leaving FL dumb af in that aspect for decades like other similar shoujo manwha that shall not be named now. I swear I didn't mean for this to turn into a call-out post/vent.
The Strongest Characters in the World are Obsessed With Me
79/ MC is reincarnated into a dark dating sim she used to play, as a character which did not exist. A bit too early to judge the plot yet, but it's obvious that there's a bunch of things hidden behind the curtain if you will. The lightheartet atmosphere also kinda has a reason to be there, acting as a contrast between the dark vibe of the game and overall how serious the world actually is. It's like MC presence lightens up the story. Maybe I'm overanalysing? [Spoilers?]: It's kinda obvious how MC's existence is something of a cure for the transcendentals and I hope there's some interesting lore behind that instead of her just being proclaimed a random saint thing that appears in their world every odd years or so. Anywho, most of the story's charm so far is from MC and her relationship with other people, though usually I'm more interested in lore.
Please Cry, Crown Prince
Grand Duke, It Was a Mistake!
The daughter of a Count is obsessed with the Grand Duke, basically she's his ultimate stan. One day she makes a mistake, messes with some ominous dark magic ball and has a blackout. After waking up from it she realizes she has the Duke tied up and half naked in her bed. Honestly, I have a hard time getting into it simply bc FL is the literal embodiment of owo, which isn't a good thing imo. She's dumb and blind af- and people who can't handle this kind of "I think he doesn't love me and I can't see how no matter how god damn obvious it is"-spiel are gonna suffer really hard the first few chapters, at least. Tbh the author would've been better off just leaving the readers in the dark about whether or not the Duke is actually into her. Then her angst about being left in the dust and what not would've felt no where near as annoying as it feels for me rn.
