The trans representation in this bl moved me bruh i never expect to see rep like this, and proper ones especially so it was nice. Sakurai went through so much im suprised he's still alive all that, im glad he had the protective debt collecter by his side if not i don't think he would be alive today. The abuse he faced is tremendous, not only emotional neglect and abuse from his father but the sexual abuse and manipulation from his teacher, someone he thought he could trust. It's upsetting that people like that teacher can get away with crimes like that and bear no consequences for their actions while the victims have to live with the trauma for their entire life. Ugh it's frustrating, im glad sakurai found the seme, there's a part of me that wishes that the seme is more mature and aware but it's all gud he can learn from hereon, glad that they're both healing in their own ways and proceeding with life together

I was expecting it to be cliche and dramatic but it was so well wrote that i almost teared up, especially when i saw the panel where old age asakura says that he's gonna join his partner soon. Im glad they were together till the very end, it's rare to see a historical bl that's realistic but also has a happy ending
