Guess I'm heading towards the books because this is awesome! Edit: I'm on chap 175 and haven't read anything in weeks due to my final exams. But... I'm at the part where Arthur is fighting Uto (it's not a spoiler if you don't know ).

I'm only on chapter 12 but I'm really happy with the story so far. I tried Tower of God and I just cannot get into it. I don't like any of the characters. Tales of Demons and Gods was great for the first few chapters but I slowly started disliking how childish the MC is and having no other fleshed out side characters (plus the plot is boring), I had to stop reading before I strangled myself. I love Solo Leveling and I've read all of the Douluo novels. I've been looking for another likeable story for so long... and even though I'm on chap 12, so far it feels this is exactly what I've been looking for. I might even move to the novels because the characters seem so likeable and I'd like to get more into their thoughts. Just wanted to add this because this story doesn't seem popular but so far, it's ticking all the boxes for a great story. Edit: I'm on chapter 24 and this story is absolutely brilliant. Love the characters but more importantly, I fricken love our MC. He's not stupid, can be brutal but can also be soft hearted - especially those who deserve it. I'm going to check out the novels now! Edit: just finished chap 59 and I have tears running down my cheeks. I love this story... I adore the MC. Cold hearted? Perhaps he is but he can also be a real softy and those moments... are golden. This story is golden. Edit: just caught up and now I'm moving to the novels (might start them from the beginning). This is exactly the kind of story I love and I'm so happy I found this. I absolutely adore the MC and all the characters we've been introduced to, especially his monster like siblings that he thinks is absolutely adorable

I have a lot to say about this. I remember binging the first 100 chapters years back and I was obsessed. Rereading this now... and I'm truly disappointed. The beginning is great but the more I read, the more I'm disliking Nie Li. He's supposed to be an adult in a 13 year old's body but I swear he is so childish. I love some face slapping or those moments when all the characters are shocked by how amesome our MC is but this story starts to really irritate me by using every character to prove our MC is powerful (and it's done in such a repetitive way). Can't he just have a normal conversation and relationship with someone other than his small group of friends. I also wish we had more character growth with the other characters. Because all the side characters seem like vases and I'm disliking Nie Li more and more... it's getting harder and harder for me to continue the story. Then we have the plot... which is really boring. I'm only at chapter 150 but there's just no end goal given. I'm just really annoyed, bored and it's killing my curiosity. Sigh...

This is the only straight romance manga I follow. All the others are BL or manga that aren't focused on romance e.g. Solo Leveling but this one... this one is so fricken good that I want to binge it but there's no new chaps out and it's killing me.

It was interesting in the beginning but then went down hill from there. It was like a kids story... everything very surface based... no character development really... just... boring

Did I just binge 166 chapters in 2 days. Yes... yes I did. Now I want to read the novel... because I NEED more!!! This is so fricken good!!!!! Teared up while finishing this. One of my all time favourites! My heart hurts to say goodbye but the ending was extremely satisfying and I'm so happy how the story turned out. Still can't believe it's officially over
