She learns from him about the 8 women that have disappeared in the northern forest over the last 2mths. The last woman was his 24yo sister a week ago. - Ramia goes to the forest and encounters an underground octopus monster and a kachooli beast. They’ve been possessed by reincarnated souls from a parallel world. Working together they kidnapped and raped women who entered the forest. - Ramia kills the octopus with a stamp of her foot. She crushes the balls of the kachooli and makes him take her to where the women are. At a cave hidden by nature magic, Ramia finds the 6 remaining women. 2 of them were killed for being difficult. Ramia gives the women swords retrieved from her magical storage to kill the kachooli. - The high priestess who was kidnapped 1st attacks Ramia for killing her masters. She became a crazy pervert that created the hidden cave and helped the monsters to kidnap and torture the other women. Ramia breaks her legs and the other women wound her further but want to take her to the temple for her final punishment. - Ramia brings the women and the monsters’ bodies back to town. She’s confronted by Kaiya who orders her to leave. She calls Ramia a monster who committed an unforgivable crime against all humankind 30yrs ago. Gertrude smacks down Kaiya and tells her off. Alex and Clea run after Ramia and offer their thanks. - Alex and Clea asked to be trained by Ramia. Ch 49 as of 21/12/21 - rate 3.5 so far ** lots of confusing Korean mythology … DROPPED. - FL is Choa, the slave girl from Baek village offered as the sacrificial bride to the mountain tiger god SanGun of BaekSan. Her white hair and blue eyes means she has the blood of the white blooded ghost, which is a tempting elixir to all beasts. - SanGun tries to get rid of Choa by giving her wild ginseng to sell at Ungol village so she can provide for herself. She’s accused of stealing the ginseng and beaten before the ginseng is forcefully taken from her. Before SanGun kills those who bullied Choa, she stops him and asks for just the ginseng to be returned. - SanGun gives Choa a special Domojam hairpin (ie a binyeo) made from a 1000yr old peach tree. It’s to ward off evil spirits. Choa is extremely touched as it’s her 1st gift ever. - Hwaran, a female ghost servant of SanGun (ie she’s a changgwi, soul of a person who died from being bitten by a tiger. They lure people to the tiger to be killed). - After almost dying while saving Choa from the blood-casting mouse demon, SanGun seeks the primary lotus root needed to transform himself into human form. - In return for the lotus root, SanGun is tricked by Udan the wild boar mountain god to follow his son Uzi and the wild boar herd who attack a merchant caravan guarded by swordmasters for the Do Bong pills. The pills are a coveted treasure that can instantly raise one’s level. - SanGun flees after he is badly injured by Doseon Nokbang the Taoist master. Hwaran managed to steal the Do Bong pills and helped SanGun escape. Hwaran was injured by the 2 swordsman that came after them. She killed one and transformed the other to look like SanGun which Nokbang found and decapitated. Choa is left behind and thinks SanGun is dead. - SanGun accepts help from the black tiger and HongYeon, his changgwi servant. He gives them the pill in exchange for a special book on cultivation for spirit beasts. He and the black tiger enter Bi Dong, a hidden sanctuary under a ginkgo tree, to train and meditate in peace. SanGun emerges 3 days later as a human. - Wild boars are waiting for SanGun to take back the pill. He defeats them all with Gun Hwa, the special sword he obtained from the blood-sucking mouse demon. - SanGun sets up the Taoists who are still looking for him and the wild boars to fight against eachother at Mt Udun. He kills the remaining fighters including Udan using his sword Gun Hwa and blue flame. - Going through the items obtained from the Taoists, SanGun finds some letters which a young girl of Baek village helps to read for him. He learns the Red Sea has already declared war against the Yosu. He rewards the girl with a bag full of money. - SanGun takes 4yrs to absorb the intense blue flame power of the Phoenix spirit / divine beast that’s been hidden deep in BaekSan, in preparation for an upcoming war against demons and a period of great upheaval for humans and beasts. - SanGun looks for Yeon the young girl who helped him with the letters. Now a young woman, she’s to be offered as a slave concubine after the money he gave her ruined her family who were accused of stealing. SanGun asks her to teach him how to read and write. He saves her from being raped by her master and gives her a new path to follow, to learn swordsmanship and protect BaekSan. - 3mths later SanGun travels to Sun Moon Gate, a monastery in Jun San mountain. He joins a group of warriors to enter the gate to Yeongnae mountain, the 1st time in 100yrs. Many different sects have gathered for this opportunity. - It becomes a trap setup for SanGui the 3rd ranked demon king out of 100,000 to hunt and devour the souls of those who’ve entered. - SanGun bows down before SanGui who detects that SanGun is a spiritual beast turned into a human. SanGui tells SanGun to become his servant and he will give him what he’s looking for. It’s the Soul JeHang, a tool that can replicate anything that can fit inside it. - SanGui continues to hunt and one of the remaining humans turns out to be Choa, now a young swordswoman of the Bingung (Ice Palace) sect called Sister White Lotus. - SanGun stops SanGui from devouring Choa by chopping off his arm. SanGun has now become the enemy of all demons. - Choa and SanGun fight SanGui together. - After an epic battle SanGun deals the final death blow to SanGui with his Blue Flame Tiger Claw. - SanGun carrying Choa and another Bingung disciple are the only ones to emerge. - SanGun telepathically confirms with the spiritual beast gatekeeper that they let SanGui into Yeongnae mountain. The gatekeeper was promised the plaque that binds them would be retrieved and they would be free. SanGun agrees to get the plaque to prevent the gatekeeper from revealing that he’s a spiritual beast too. - Treasures from the battle with SanGui: egg of a gold leafed fern (eternal youth); the Soul JeHang; the twin crimson balls; and the spiritual devourer centipede. - Taoist master Doseon Yoo Jeong engages in battle with SanGun after revealing he knows SanGun is a spiritual beast. - HongYeon helps hide SanGun until the coast is clear. SanGun discovers the black tiger is a girl as she’s now a human (with animal ears). - Under the full moon, SanGun uses the Soul JeHang and duplicates the egg. He swallows one of the eggs. - SanGun gives Do Bong pills to his servants, the spirit ginseng and the golden carp spirits. (Too hard to summarise from Ch 30 on.)

- It’s been 50yrs since the end of World War 4. - FL is Sawol, a refugee girl with no resident barcode mark tattooed on her hand. She’s living in secret for 2yrs with Ms. Seulah Jung who’s a resident and took in FL as she looks like her deceased younger brother. - Becoming a delivery knight is one way for refugees to be granted residency and earn a huge salary. The delivery companies recruit winners from undergound fight clubs by holding a tournament to determine the strongest fighter. - The delivery knight recruitment test has the last 2 remaining fighters undergo a final test to determine the winner. They have to defeat a room full of refugees, including women and children. The first one to do so is the winner. - Refugees caught breaking the law are mercilessly executed on the spot by police. The same goes for any residents found to be harbouring refugees. - Seulah is contacted about a matching donor for the illegal transplant of a resident barcode for Sawol. - Sawol is shot in the head but somehow survives. She ambushes Hong Doosik the crime boss who arranged the transplant. She wants to know where Seulah is. She escapes before he can shoot her. - Ranking matches are held every year to determine the rank and salaries of delivery knights. There are small local matches to national competitions, with the match between the last 2 delivery knights televised. - ML is Changmin, delivery knight 5-8. He used to be a refugee but gained residency when he became a delivery knight. He secretly gives supplies to refugees. - Joo Taeho, part of a Class A refugee crime group. 2yrs ago he murdered all of the police in District 7-2 who had imprisoned his wife and son. He wears a gas mask with a red horn to the RHS. He’s killing delivery knights at first in revenge for the suspected death of his son. He later learns his son was last seen fighting Hong Doosik’s men in District 5-3 and he attacks Hong’s HQ directly. - While his son searches for his friend who was taken, Sawol stops Joo Taeho from hurting Hong as she needs to find out about Seulah from him. Sawol finds out that she’s a mutant with exceptionally strong bones. - Go Taewoon, forced to work for Hong Doosik to pay off a debt after he failed to become a delivery knight. He has incredible strength and tenacity. He has a murder conviction for killing a man who poured acid on his mother’s face. - He fights Joo Taeho and while he manages to injure him, Taewoon himself becomes badly injured. - Changmin arrives to avenge his colleagues and fights Joo Taeho who is almost defeated, but he pleads for his son to get medicine for his heart condition. Just as Changmin is about to let them go, the police arrive and surround them all. At the police station, Joo Taeho and his son are rescued by his boss, a powerful mutant with rock fists called Sir Mercy. - The Chunmyung Group, the largest and most successful conglomerate in Korea. They produce the oxygen capsules that everyone needs to breathe. - They forced Hong Doosik to become involved in human trafficking for the Group. Young women were being used in experiments, conducted by a Dr Jung. They’re the ones who took Seulah and shot Sawol. - Sawol asks Changmin how she can get into the Chunmyung Group. He says the only possibility would be to become the best delivery knight, ranked number 1. If she can make it through all the fight club matches to get to the delivery knight test, he promised to help her get through it. - Daehan Delivery, government owned and sole exclusive delivery provider in Korea. A new private company Green Delivery claims to be safer as it won’t hire former refugees. Green have a special recruitment requirement and that is to attack and defeat a Daehan delivery knight. - Victims of the mines: people with mutations due to exposure to the M1 mineral which is used for making the oxygen capsules. - Sawol is the first female contestant to take part in the delivery knight recruitment test. She discovers a new ability where she can extend her bones to cover her hands and arms the more she fights. - Her final test is interrupted by the other contestant Moowon who causes havoc when he rescues all of the refugees. - Sawol was initially dismissed but is later found by Changmin who congratulated her on becoming a delivery knight for District 5-1. She’s the first female delivery knight. - Go Taewoon takes the Green Delivery recruitment test. He passes the strength component and the fight component. He passes the final interview after explaining how he was convicted for murder. - Sawol has the bomb injection which is given to all former refugee delivery knights as a precautionary measure. She also finally receives a residency barcode. Sawol is assigned her own residential unit and she can have 3 other people live with her. - Moowon was 1 of the 4 special guards for the Air Road, the main oxygen pipes that supply the Central and Special Districts. The special guards are former delivery knights who ranked 1st.

Ch 21 as of 15/02/22 - also on Webtoon - Kim Minji 18yo, gets taken away be thugs when she’s knocked out with a rock by her high school nemesis and rich kid, Joo Hyeri. - Mr Kim (Code 66), Minji’s father. He’s a legendary, former North Korean spy with considerable military expertise. Minji doesn’t know about her father’s past. - Joo Kang Chan, CEO of Jooyoung Construction. - Hyeri’s father. He’s corrupt, powerful and influential. - Kang Guk Cheol, Director, National Special Ops Dept. - Kang is tracking Mr Kim and Minji using GPS. - Song Han Soo, National taekwondo gold medallist. - When Minji goes missing, Mr Kim questions Hyeri and her thug boyfriend after he finds Hyeri’s hair tie in an alley with lots of blood stains. Mr Kim beats up some loan sharks as he tries to find who took Minji. The police arrive and they’re all arrested. - When Mr Kim’s mobile rings with a call from Minji’s mobile, he breaks free from his handcuffs and knocks out everyone in the police station so he can answer his mobile. - Mr Kim seeks help from his friend Mr Song who has a van with all the latest surveillance tech. Since Mr Kim trashed the police station, Kang and his men have been pursuing Mr Kim. - Mr Kim and Mr Song enter a trashy high school for idiots and delinquents after tracking Minji’s mobile to that location. They fight their way through until they find the mobile in the pocket of a gang leader. - They find out the mobile was taken from a homeless man. They find the man who saw the mobile and wallet being thrown away. The man describes the car of the ones who threw out those items. - Using CCTV footage, they locate the car at the freight docks near the port. Mr Kim beats up the thugs at the docks and checks the freezer warehouse where Minji was being kept. - Minji already escaped herself and Mr Kim sees her trying to hitch a ride at the road nearby. Minji gets a lift from Mr Joo who had come to the docks for an arranged meeting with the thugs holding Minji. Mr Joo takes Minji to his villa. Before Minji is given a lethal injection, they’re interrupted by the appearance of Kang and his men. The Vice Minister calls and tells Kang to back off. Kang’s men manage to take Minji away before Mr Joo noticed. - Mr Kim and Mr Song were watching the villa. They stowed away in the cars of Kang and his men. Kang takes Minji back to HQ.

He joins a recon unit to scout the mine that’s become a dungeon. He helps them to trap and hunt kobolds. He shows his true skills when they’re faced with a predator monster. Zephyr defeats the monster and makes a deal with the unit leader to let him keep the monster corpse. The leader can take all of the credit for clearing the dungeon. - Silver Key: an inventory space. The key holder can store items in a silver room, anywhere, anytime. - The unit leader submits a transfer application for Zephyr from the mining team to his recon unit. - Official agents that work directly for Inquisitor Mathias. They can target anyone they want as heretics and punish them without trial. - Sahak the Mad Hound, an official agent and a psycho who loves to kill. Sahak senses Zephyr is very powerful and stops to question him. Sahak and his team attack Zephyr, but he defeats them. - Tartarus worshippers (TW): a group of believers devoted to Tartarus. Under the leader, there are executives called the 12 apostles. Their plan is to summon Tartarus to destroy them rebuild the world. They betrayed humanity in the upcoming war, and ultimately caused humanity’s downfall. - Ned Stryer, 1 of 12 Inquisitor 1st ranked official agents. - He’s secretly a disciple of Jinryang of the East, the 9th highest ranking Tartarus worshipper and an apostle. - In Zephyr’s past life, Ned was his martial arts teacher. The Baron used his title and property as collateral for the investment loan. In a massive case of financial fraud by the Temple, the Baron was one of many who lost everything. Blood Tears, a magic sword and family heirloom was confiscated. The Baron was killed when he tried to attack the Priest. That was 12yrs ago. - Jinryang promised to help Ned get revenge and recover the sword. Later Zephyr tells Ned that Jinryang is the one who has Blood Tears and betrayed Ned. - Anna Primrose, Temple of Light nun. Alias: White Rose, monster broker with connections to the underworld. - Zephyr sells the predator corpse to White Rose to pay off some of his debt. He makes a deal to supply her with more monster corpses in the future. - Recon unit: Gote, team leader. Marco, tanker. Dale, swordsman. - Zephyr leads the recon unit into a black steel spider’s nest. Together they defeat the spiders, including the huge spider queen. - 72 deadly poisons of Fade, the king of poisons. - To quickly increase his stats, Zephyr used a combination of diluted poison and acupuncture. - The 3rd Parish of the Temple of Light: - Senior Inquisitor Mathias Grimmer (36th rank TW) - Lucius Giornetti 32yo, Commander of the temple knights. He’s the Holy One of Light who received stigmata at 7yo. - Bishop Alfonso Giornetti, Lucius’ uncle. Head of the 3rd Parish. - Legendary items: Shining Lance and Winged Shield of Michael. - Ring of Purification: a gift to Zephyr from White Rose. - The Shoggoth: a biological weapon of the Tartarus worshippers. It’s controlled by a hypnotic instrument (the Ocarina of Hypnosis). - The temple knights raid: the Tomb of the Fallen Princess. - 1 of the 8 hardest quests in the world. There are 9 floors. Only the 8th and 9th floors are left to be cleared. - 40 of the 86 members of the raid party are TW. - There are 2 weeks of brutal training before the raid. - Cardinal Oldin Lasker, Central Parish, Temple of Light. (11th ranked TW and an apostle). The TW leader and half of the 12 TW apostles are high ranking priests at the Temple of Light. - Zephyr convinces Ned to trust him and follow his plan to retrieve the dragon heart from the boss room. - The raid party are recovering after clearing the 8th floor. Zephyr uses the Ocarina given to all of the TW and awakens the Shoggoths to distract everyone. He activates a hidden device that changes the structure of the tomb. - Zephyr and Ned drink the potion given to all TW that temporarily disables the temple mark that controls slaves. Zephyr casts a strong luck spell from the goddess of fortune. He avoids the attack from Lucius and finds the path to the boss room. Ned stops an attack from Mathias and catches up with Zephyr. They just make it past the gatekeeper and into the boss room before the luck spell runs out. - Lucius confronts Mathias and orders all slaves to attack him. In the end Mathias is defeated and confined by Lucius. Mathias consumes the TW secret weapon and last resort, the Stone of Revelation. It resonates with the Tartarus-marked bug inside all TW and turns Mathias into a demon. - Mathias the demon kills almost everyone and fights Lucius 1-on-1. Lucius calls on his secret Shard of Glory skill as a Holy One. He sacrifices 6mths of his lifespan in exchange for power from the future when he’s an angel. He uses this power to defeat Mathias. - Lucius says to Mathias that the Holy Ones are nothing but playthings of the temple. Mathias was being trained to be a Holy One and was jealous of Lucius. Mathias sacrificed everything and betrayed his 20yr friendship with Lucius to obtain the power and recognition he craved. - The final boss is Princess Eurydice, a grand sorceress who died 1000yrs ago. Ned stole the Stake of Faith that Lucius borrowed from the Pope. They use the Stake to help bring down Eurydice. - She is revived by the mana that seeps into the room from the gatekeeper. She almost kills both Ned and Zephyr. - Zephyr starts to draw a taboo symbol that would bring his death. He’s stopped by the archangel who sent him back in time. He asks the gods for help if they don’t want him to die yet. - Akairus, the god of the sky. 1 of the 3 supreme gods. - The Sky Temple is the 2nd most powerful religion on the continent. It’s always been on bad terms with the Temple of Light. - The Sword of Light: a divine sword that can only be used by those deemed worthy. Aria gives Zephyr the power to wield this sword. He uses it to defeat Eurydice and break the powerful curse on her. - Eurydice was 1 of 12 heroes that fought against the demons 1000yrs ago. Her knight Georgios was the hero who dealt the final blow in their battle against the black dragon. Georgios and Eurydice were married and had a daughter. - Georgios convinced Eurydice to plant the dragon heart inside him so he would wipe out the remaining demons and demon worshippers. They were deceived by the golden dragon to think the cursed dragon heart was purified. Georgios turned into an undead creature and Eurydice herself had to tear the dragon heart from him. - Zephyr insists that Eurydice plant the dragon heart in him despite the risks. He casts the luck spell to improve his chance of success. - After the heart is transplanted, Zephyr defeats the black dragon’s overmind in his consciousness. - Meanwhile Eurydice removed the Tartarus-marked bug from Ned. - The power of the dragon heart is limited to ensure Zephyr doesn’t lose control due to the imbalance between his own power and the dragon’s power. As the heart’s power increases over time, Zephyr’s body will need to be readjusted. - Language Enchantment: an exclusive dragon skill. - It imbues words with magical power. - Lucius detects the Stake of Faith is in the boss room but is stopped by the gatekeeper. He is saved by Zephyr who opened the doors from the boss room. Zephyr uses language enchantment and the Sword of Light to defeat the gatekeeper. - Lucius recognises the sword and senses the power of Aria from Zephyr. Lucius kneels before Zephyr. - Mage crystal: it contains the ancient magic of the Medea kingdom that Eurydice learnt. Zephyr needs to give this crystal to Eurydice’s descendant (Princess Altair) who inherited her magic to help him with readjusting his body. - Master Key: allows you to use any function in Eurydice’s tomb. - Zephyr uses the key to find the treasure chamber. - Potion of True Sight: a drop on the eyes allows one to see the bugs inside TW. - Lucius removes the temple slave mark from Zephyr and Ned. - Lucius is led to believe that Zephyr and Ned have been working from within the temple to root out TW heretics. - Zephyr takes Lucius to Mathias’ hideout where all of the correspondence between Oldin and Mathias is kept. - Lucius attacks the 3rd Parish. He shows the letters to Oldin as proof of his deceit. - The marked bug grants demonic power to TW. - The more that power is used, the more the bug grows. - The bug inside Oldin has evolved into a queen that can produce larvae. He can brainwash and control anyone who swallows them. - Oldin has taken over the 3rd Parish. He forced Alfonso to swallow a larvae and he’s holding Lucius’ family hostage. (Claudia, wife and Marius, baby son) - Misty Bracelet: gives the wearer a powerful cloaking skill. - Ned rescues Claudia and Marius. He hides them in a cave. - Castor Hugo, older twin knight (20th TW) to Oldin. - Lucius fights Castor at the 3rd Parish, while Zephyr fights Oldin who’s escaped. They killed the other twin knight earlier, who was waiting for Ned to deliver the dragon heart. - Oldin turns into his demon form. Zephyr tests his Dragonification skill and other abilities on Oldin until he’s defeated. - Castor escapes after he made the main building collapse. On his way to Oldin, he’s attacked by Ned with his Mystic Sword, which creates a blade of mana. Ned then wields the Moon Sword that was used by Castor’s twin brother. Using the Crow Cape and his lightning skill, Ned defeats Castor to fulfill part of his revenge. - Crow Cape: the wearer can teleport a short distance after creating a mana clone. - With the defeat of Oldin, his larvae that were swallowed also die. - Zephyr and Ned return to the 3rd Parish with Claudia and Marius. - Arrests are made of the TWs that came with Oldin from the Central Temple. Lucius also purges the 3rd Parish of TWs. - Zephyr presents to Alfonso the head of Oldin trapped in one of Eurydice’s relics, Memera’s Cage. Anyone inside can’t use their skills and their state remains preserved. The queen bug inside Oldin is dead and he’s lost all of his powers. - As a TW executive, Oldin would have useful info for Alfonso. Ned and Zephyr already tortured and interrogated Oldin. She is Ned’s older sister who he thought drowned 13yrs ago. She had amnesia after her ship sank from a typhoon and was found by Jinryang. - Ophelia had a mission to prevent the Smiling Woman who is the shadow disciple of Jinryang from interfering with the dungeon raid. Ophelia saw the face of the Smiling Woman and she looked similar to Ned. The Smiling Woman and Ned also had the same Eastern martial arts skills. - Ned realises the Smiling Woman is his sister. Ned confronts Zephyr who lied to Ned when they first met about being the shadow disciple of Jinryang. He attended the academy with Altair. - Zephyr uses poison needles to save Sir Grimes, an elite Danakil knight who was dying from the blue dragon’s poison. - Dariel the divine archer, a high elf and 1 of the 10 great warriors on the continent. His sister is Kiara and their mother is the elf queen. He was ML’s comrade in his past life. - The Great Elfen Forest: the elves attack the raid party when they try to enter. Zephyr resists with overwhelming power and the elves admit defeat. - 4yrs ago, 2 high elves led an army to attack the Danakil residents. They signed a ceasefire treaty after they were defeated by 1st Prince Polaris and the temple knights. - The blue dragon built it's nest on the Lake of Life in the elven kingdom. Zephyr needs the raid party, the Danakil knights and the elves to join forces to defeat the blue dragon. - Zephyr uses the poison needles to treat the elves affected by the blue dragon’s poison, including the queen. - The other high elves have already abandoned the forest. - Zephyr drinks the last cup of pure water from the Lake of Life. With help from Altair, Elise and Ned, Zephyr’s dragon heart output increases and he achieves the 2nd form of the Dragonification skill.
