He’s a workaholic who refuses to date anyone. He even carries a makeup remover spray as a woman repellant. - Min-Hyuk Park is Maya’s older brother. He goes to college in Chicago. The Park family own a bakery store. - Dieter (FL rejected his confession) and Soushi, Nol’s mates. - Alyssa Cho is Nol’s GF and ex-classmate of FL. She debuts as a pop singer and is too busy to be there for Nol. - FL met Alyssa when they both started as new students in middle school. FL had transferred after being expelled. Alyssa had been home schooled. - Megan Cho is Alyssa’s older sister. She is obsessed with Kousuke and stalks him relentlessly. - FL gets a part-time job at a fast food franchise to help Simhan with paying the bills. Simhan works at a nursing home. - FL is hired as a maths tutor for the boys. - Nol starts helping at the company under Kousuke. - FL is shocked when Kousuke’s mum Yui tells FL to have his kids. FL thinks Kousuke should be included in these discussions, instead of the parents forcing their decisions on their children. - Yui tricks FL to be at Kousuke’s place as his bday surprise. - FL gets fed up with being a toy for Yui’s amusement and leaves. Kousuke takes her home after she gets him a slice of his favourite cake as a bday gift. - Gun Kim, a business partner with the Hirahara company. - Sangchul Kim, Gun’s son - FL needs money for Simhan who collapsed after drinking too much and is unconscious in hospital. Also the deadline for the eviction from their apartment is soon. - Yui meddles again and pretends that Kousuke arranged for FL to receive a cheque. FL is also offered an admin assistant job at the company. FL is made to attend the Kims’ formal event which all of the Hirahara family and Alyssa Cho are also going to. - FL gets drunk from a cocktail (and a drug?). Sangchul takes her to a private guest room. He tries to kiss her and she punches him in the balls. Then she wanders off to the indoor pool area. - Meg finds a small, empty vial and earlier overheard Yui speaking about a deal with Sangchul. Meg tells Nol and Kousuke. The 3 of them search for FL. Nol stops Sangchul who has FL’s coat. Nol punches Sangchul for insulting FL and Alyssa. Kousuke finds FL first but she goes ballistic and attacks Yui. Nol, Kousuke and FL fall into the pool. FL is unconscious but wakes up later in hospital. - FL rips up the cheque from Yui and visits her father in the other hospital. Someone pays their overdue rent and gets a charity to cover Simhan’s medical fees. - The college entrance exams are the next day. - Video of Nol punching Sangchul has gone viral. - Nol and Sangchul are forced to work together at the company to promote a unified image for the business investors.

Ch 111 as of 01/08/22 ** slapstick humour is silly - Workplace: The Q Magazine Publishers - Hyun Lee 33yo, owl tribe, former editor and now channel sales team manager for “The Nest,” an interior design magazine. - Ivan Mariani (from Italy), snake tribe, HR manager - Alek / Alessandro Bocelli, snake tribe, Branch Director - At the end of year party for the company, Hyun and Ivan got drunk and had a one night stand. Ivan left an imprint on Hyun (ie a special mark that can only be made by the snake tribe). - An imprinted person is instinctively attracted to members of the snake tribe and vice versa. The imprinted person needs to be regularly exposed to the pheromones of the snake tribe, or risk getting sick or going blind. The marker and the imprinted person form a special bond, like a lifelong promise to one person. - Alek and Ivan are cousins. Their family have always favoured Ivan over Alek. The grandfather and patriarch blamed Alek for the death of his daughter. She died after giving birth to Alek. - Hospital test results come back to say Ivan isn’t the one who imprinted Hyun. The marker was actually Alek.
