Read ch 145 as of 19/04/21 (reincarnation starts ch 7) - After travelling back in time, FL visits the temple where she rejects God Vita and her destined fate. God gives her the name Pioneer, to decide her own path. - NB: Early death of FL’s mother Jeremia left FL so much in shock then that she has no memories of her mum. Ruveliss was present at her death. - NB: Monique family Blood Oath (curse) due to close ties w/ imperial family. Comes w/ a wish which FL’s dad used to marry her mum? - FL suggests luxury tax to Emperor, praised for her bright mind. - FL improves her relationship w/ her father, Marquis Keirean la Monique and Commander of the 2nd Knight Squad (who was estranged and had died for her before). - FL starts learning swordwork soon after despite her frail body. Goal is to be a knight as sole heir for her house and family. As per tradition for those training to be the next Commander, 13yo FL is offered to work as an aide and squire to the 1st Squad. - Sir Allendis de Veritas, genius of the Empire and this time FL’s 1st friend from childhood. They learnt sword work together and he even proposed to her when they were still kids. He has a 2-faced personality, hides it from FL. She told him her secret about having returned to the past and the events that had led to her death but he didn’t believe her. At 16yo he becomes youngest admin officer in history. His parents greatly favour his older brother over him. - Sir Carsein de Rass, best swordsman of Empire. FL’s 2nd childhood friend and he trains together with her. His father is Commander of the 1st Knight Squad, his mother is the Emperor’s sister. He holds off confessing his feelings to FL until he’s become stronger. At 16yo he becomes youngest knight in history. - Crown Prince Ruveliss, an arrogant asshole, hateful bastard. TBC he hit her when they were very young. He blames her for taking everything away from him, feels he is always unfairly compared with her and is jealous of her close relationship w/ his father. FL is initially fearful of him due to memories of his hatred and her death at his hands, which infuriates him more. - At Ruveliss’ coming of age ceremony, Marquis Monique announces FL as his heir which has obvious implications for her future as Empress. - FL went into state of shock after Ruveliss confronted her for the truth. She became blank, empty and silent. Meanwhile he stumbled across her letters that mentioned her secret as told to Allendis. She comes back to her senses w/ help from her father. Later she shares her secret w/ her father and he accepts it without question. Elsewhere Ruveliss admits to himself that he is to blame for why FL fears him, especially his rejection of her. - When a part of the palace gardens is on fire, FL shows inspirational leadership in directing servants to put out the fire. - Rumours questioning FL’s relationship w/ Allendis and Carsein circulate among some jealous nobles, spread by the aristocratic faction. To retaliate FL studies up on all the Houses of the imperial faction and engages in social events to expand her support base. This includes solidifying their relationship through business ideas. - Allendis starts to secretly help the aristocratic faction. - Event: For Foundation Day, 5 x foreign princesses invited as candidates to be the future Empress. One very arrogant pushed by aristocratic faction. Other ends up accepting proposal from Carsein’s older brother. - Allendis confesses his feelings to FL but she can’t accept. - FL’s dad acknowledges her as next Head of the House and to act in that capacity as needed. - Emperor collapses and there are grave fears for his health. A High Priest is summoned. - FL and Carsein are attacked by assassins, w/ the most likely target being FL as they were sent by the aristocratic faction. Carsein’s eyes were blinded in the attack but are healed by the visiting High Priest. - Allendis confesses to the Emperor and Ruveliss about secretly leaking documents to the aristocratic faction. - The Emperor goes to the Summer Palace for his health and to avoid the heat. FL is reassigned there. - Event: (ch 110) “Blessed Child” and “girl from another world” Jieun appears at palace lake. She is aware of events that happened before, and is much more cunning and hostile this time. She’s given the name “Graspe” by God and adopted by Duke Zena, leader of the aristocratic faction. - The High Priest believes both Jieun and FL are children of prophecy. Jieun will have to prove her capabilities before she can take up a position at the imperial palace. - FL hears the prophecy of a new High Priest - The aristocratic faction cause trouble for the FL when it’s her turn to host Foundation Day celebrations. The next day FL collapses and is in a coma for 3 mths. The cause is due to poison and has made her infertile. - Meanwhile, the Emperor also collapsed and remains weak and bedridden. Soon after he passes away. Ruveliss becomes the next Emperor. After the funeral FL tells him that his father truly cared for him but was strict as he would have to lead the Empire one day. Ruveliss admitted he resented and envied FL all this time for the affection directed at her that he felt he never received. He reveals his mother was a maid and he was adopted by the Empress then. - At the council meeting to decide the next Empress, FL declares she has no interest in becoming Empress and asks Ruveliss to cancel their engagement. - The investigation into her poisoning seems to point to the temple being involved. - FL coming of age celebration: Ruveliss’ unexpected arrival sees FL ask him to be her 1st dance as an adult. - Jieun tells FL that Ruveliss searched for her desperately after her death and turned away from Jieun. - FL becomes a knight and tries to make the Blood Oath w/ Ruveliss but he refuses. - (Ch 132) FL and Ruveliss 1st kiss - FL continues to keep her heart closed and doesn’t believe Ruveliss won’t betray her again. - Ruveliss collapses due to the same poison used on FL and he asks her to covertly investigate who’s behind this. - Allendis’ brother dies after long illness. Allendis himself is back in the capital.

Read ch 70 as of 28/01/21 ** not enough background info / context that would’ve helped to understand plot more. Still good story overall.
