His mother keeps trying to set up blind dates for him. - Siwoo 34yo, the owner of a gay bar - He’s known Suha for 10yrs. - Suha is surprised to bump into Jiwoon in the bathroom at Siwoo’s gay bar. He had no idea Jiwoon was gay. Suwa’s embarrassed because he’s caught with another man and he leaves quickly. - There’s a package mixup between Suha and Jiwoon. Siwoo texts Suha to meet the new prospect tonight at the bar. Suha left his personal mobile at work and Jiwoon sees the texts from Siwoo. - The man Siwoo introduced was another dud. He has secretly been in regular contact with Minseo and found out Suha was staying with Siwoo) - Siwoo can sense the sexual tension and ushers Jiwoon and Suha outside so he can close the bar. Jiwoon takes Suha back to his place and they have sex (Ch 15-16). In the morning Jiwoon happens to have a suit and shoes that fit Suha perfectly. - President Lee returns from an overseas business trip. - She makes the usual disparaging comments about Jiwoon when she meets with him and Suha. Later in Jiwoon’s office, Suha tries to cheer up Jiwoon who then pulls Suha into his lap. Suha masturbates Jiwoon and they have sex until Suha passes out (Ch 20-21). Jiwoon takes Suha back to his place to sleep. - Jiwoon is meeting President Choi and Jeongmin for dinner at a hotel restaurant. Suha is booking a room for Jiwoon at the reception when the hotel owner (?) arrives and sees Suha. They had slept together in the past. Jiwoon interrupts them when he sees Suha and the man look like they’re about to go in the lift (Suha was actually rejecting the man). The man seems to know Dohyeok and Jiwoon. He calls Suha “communal property” that should be shared. - Jiwoon takes Suha to the hotel room, leaving Jeongmin at the restaurant (her father is running late). Jiwoon has aggressive sex with Suha. In the morning they agree to see each other exclusively for sex. (Ch 25-26) - Jiwoon apologises in person to Jeongmin and her father. - President Lee tells Jiwoon that she plans to transfer Suha to the executive secretary dept to prepare for his role as the secretary supporting Dohyeok. - For a week Jiwoon distances himself from Suha. On the weekend Suha feels lonely and fantasises about Jiwoon while using the vibrator. Suha texts Jiwoon and finds out he’s at home. Suha makes a surprise visit to Jiwoon and admits he wants to have sex. Suha gives Jiwoon a blowjob and takes the lead in having sex. He says he wants to have sex with Jiwoon every day. She’s a genius and demon of the battlefield. - FL was imprisoned in a tower until she was 18yo. That was because she couldn’t control her transformations as a child. - She has a pet white wolf Manu that she calls her friend. - Empress Bruhilda, FL’s mother - 1st Prince Lohann, FL’s older brother - ML is Kang Jun, 13th Prince of the Kaganate. - He became the possession of the Khanate Princess after the Kaganate were defeated. He is the last survivor of the Kaganate royal family. - Imperial alliance annual meeting - ML asks FL to save him after he runs away from the Khanate. She takes him with her after the meeting is over. - ML becomes FL’s night companion whom she calls for every night. By day he receives lessons in the Skaden language and other topics. Later he’s given access to the imperial library. - FL takes ML with her on a hunting expedition near a village in the south. There are reports of wolves killing children. - FL says wolves don’t kill without reason. During the hunt she injures a wolf with her bow and arrow, then gives chase. - FL takes wolf form and finds the leader of the wolves in the area. The wolf FL injured is the mother of a half breed, half human and half wolf. The wolf mother offers herself as a sacrifice. - FL learns from the villagers that they killed the half breed, who they called a werewolf. That’s when the wolves started killing the human children to avenge the death of one of their own. - FL presents the mother wolf’s body and declares it to be the leader of the pack. She says the attacks will now stop and the villagers mustn’t seek revenge against the wolves. - ML had followed after FL when she pursued the wolves. He found her clothes strewn about then she returned naked. - Every full moon, FL leaves ML alone. She also wears a veil, apparently due to an eye disease. ML suspects she can change into a wolf. ML follows FL into the mountains behind the imperial palace. He loses sight of her and is suddenly surrounded by wolves. The leader appears and the other wolves leave. As ML calls out “Empress”, the leader transforms into FL. - FL sees ML has a dagger and slashes his chest with her claws. As she strangles him, ML promises to never reveal her secret. FL decides to believe him and trust him for now. - From then on FL takes ML everywhere with her. - Lucas Edward du Barke, 3rd Prince and trade minister of the Adelu kingdom. He and FL first met at her 18yo coming of age ceremony.

She was exploited as just a tool for his ambitions. - She performed a ritual to gain greater magical powers for Gaspal but sacrificed her health and appearance. The damage to her body was too great and she died. FL time travels back a year ago to when she was 20yo. - FL wants to annul her engagement to Gaspal and no longer be his doormat. FL’s abusive father Colin uses her engagement to get financial support from Gaspal which he spends on luxuries and to service his debt. FL’s mother left when FL was young due to the domestic abuse. - FL needs to increase her mana so she can summon many divine beasts for the upcoming war with the Demon King Army. She needs Kiridian fruit to make mana potion (grows only in the North). - Asula (black rabbit), divine beast of water and darkness - Hurthlat (huge white wolf), divine beast - Charlit (pink cat), divine beast of flowers and plants - ML is Duke Claude Agentine 25yo. He is the ruler of the Northern territory and the keeper of the holy sword. - The Emperor of the Parama Empire only has a daughter. He is considering either Gaspal or ML as the heir to the throne. - Gaspal has always had an inferiority complex towards ML. - At a ball, FL privately proposes a 1yr contract marriage to ML based only on mutual respect and mutual benefit. - Unmarried people are considered imperfect in this world. FL shows ML that she’s a summoner. She needs an engagement with someone of ML’s status to break the one she has with Gaspal. - A terrorist bombing in the city is stopped by FL, ML, and Badran, a paladin knight. The people hail ML as a hero. - FL can see ML has a cruel and lonely fate. He’s either praised or condemned while always risking his life for others. - ML’s head butler, Stefan (non-human, Tiggre race) - Sir Badran, commander of the paladins / Crusaders. He distrusts summoners. In FL’s past life, he led the summoner hunts. This is because summoners were responsible for calling forth the Demon King and other evil beasts. - Lillian Palmgren is Badran’s cousin and has an interest in summoning. - Julia Celton, daughter of a Marquis and FL’s rival for ML. Julia and her cronies try to embarrass FL as being lacking as a Duke’s wife. FL says ML is satisfied with her doing whatever she wants to do. This is a matter between them and not for others to be concerned with. - Crown Princess of Parama Empire coming of age birthday banquet: FL’s embroidered handkerchief was chosen by the princess due to its unique design, a soaring eagle. - FL saves Julia from drunks which makes her rethink her life. - FL decides to leave her family and tells Colin not to meddle in her life. He won’t be attending the wedding. - The wedding is officiated by the Emperor. - After FL and ML’s wedding, the couple go to the Northern estate. FL takes a tour and is warm and friendly with all of the staff. - FL visits the Kiridian fruit farms. On the way back, FL’s carriage is attacked by high level demonic monsters (they look like giant insects). FL saves the knights and freezes the monsters with her divine beast. Stefan could sense the many living sacrifices made of his kind to summon the monsters. He finds the black magic core made from Tiggre blood and crushes it. - The Tiggre blood was most likely bought at a black market auction. While undercover at an auction house with Sir Badran, ML bids on a green brooch that belonged to FL’s mother. - Afterwards the auctioneer privately shows them a collection of Tiggre jewelled eyes as the special item. Sir Badran takes the eyes but the auctioneer calls forth a swarm of flying insect beasts. - FL saves Sir Badran and destroys the insects with her divine beasts. ML destroys the auction house with his holy sword. From the auction house prison, ML and FL free Fieran, a skilled Tiggre alchemist who helps FL make the Kiridian potion. - Sir Badran thanks FL for saving his life. FL hopes this means his opinion of summoners has changed. - Ancient Magic Kingdom / Ruins in the north were inherited by ML. It has a giant magic core, the Pillar of Iranor. The Pillar is possibly the reason Kiridian fruit only grows in the North. - FL and ML travel there to have the Pillar strengthen FL’s mana core. Afterwards the holy sword rejects ML, (why?) - FL can now summon the red Phoenix King divine beast, Lord Lukius (he can shrink in size). Her other summons are Asla, Charlotte, and Haslat. - There’s a sudden epidemic / plague caused by black magic and stops the temple statues from working, foreshadowing the Demon King Army is coming. - FL researched and developed a herbal cure, then shared this knowledge with the Emperor. He asks all summoners to cooperate in producing herbs for this cure. Crown Princess Seherz is leading the cure project with help from Julia Celton. - FL and ML go on holiday to Tejera in the Ventira Kingdom. They kiss at the hot springs. ML admits to himself that he likes FL. - On the last day of the trip, FL and ML visit the local herb market. They find Gaspal and Tristan buying up herbs instead of cultivating them using summoning power. - Tristan is getting tired of Gaspal’s bad attitude and blames FL for “having it easy” all this time. - FL suggests for Tristan to become ML’s vassal and come to her side where his talents would be better appreciated. He immediately warms to the idea and distances himself from Gaspal. - Gaspal is brought before the Emperor who sternly rebukes him for his deception with the herbs. - A ball is held to honour the achievements of FL. She reveals to all that the epidemic / plague was caused by dark forces heralding the coming of the Demon King and his army. The temple and imperial family lend their support. ML will lead as commander of the fall expedition against the Demon King. FL offers to teach summoning to Lillian while she is beside FL as her lady-in-waiting. - FL receives a report from loyal servants at her family estate that a thief stole an old security box with sacred summoning texts that can only be interpreted by her family. She suspects Sally the maid of betraying her and had investigated Sally before FL went to the ruins. Sally tries to convince FL not to go on the expedition but FL gets Sally to join her instead. - Gaspal hasn’t given up on his ambition for the throne and he has another female summoner whom he calls his fiancée to act as his shadow. He promised to save her father and her family (tbc). - At the start of the expedition, Gaspal is nominated to go on a scouting mission by summoning a divine beast. This is after the imperial knights don’t return from their initial scouting mission. Gaspal refuses and no other noble family steps up. - FL volunteers to go alone. FL returns and shows images of what she saw using her divine beast. The evil beasts have set up large villages. ML commands the expedition forces to ambush the villages at night. ML, FL and the Agentine knights show their superior skills in killing the evil beasts. - Gaspal foolishly decides on his own to lead his knights to another village for the sake of his pride and reputation. His new shadow summoner helps him initially but gets injured. FL sees this and steps in with her own divine beasts to lead the victory. - Gaspal’s knights lose all trust and faith in him from this incident after many of them died to protect the cowardly Gaspal. - Gaspal had seduced Sally into believing he loved her. Sally overhears Tristan and Gaspal declare their love for each other. - A heartbroken and repentant Sally returns to FL who is willing to give Sally another chance. - Helen Astine, daughter of a fallen Baron. She’s the new fiancée and summoner for Gaspal. Stefan investigated Helen for FL and found it was Gaspal who was behind the terrible injuries sustained by Helen’s father. Helen agrees to work with FL from now on. - FL finally tells ML everything about her past life and the reason behind events and actions she’s taken in this life. - Since the ruins where ML was exposed to black magic, it’s power in his body has been growing steadily. He even commands respect from the evil beasts now. The rejection from the holy sword is also getting stronger. - ML thinks he used black magic to turn back time which is why he had black magic inside him (?) ** ML dreamt of FL and past life events before he met her ** Who is the shadowy figure behind the terror bombing attempt, the auction house, Tristan and Gaspal, and Sally the maid? Are they a powerful summoner who supports the Demon King? - Gaspal was tricked by Helen into believing she summoned the king of divine beasts. When he tries to summon it, only weak and cute divine beasts appear. FL takes over with her divine beasts. - ML says Gaspal needs to take responsibility for his incompetence. Gaspal runs away. He sets fire to the camp to distract everyone so he can escape back to the capital. Sally offers to find Gaspal to give FL time to put out the fire. - FL arrives just in time to save Sally from being strangled to death by Gaspal. Sally is treated by the temple priests. - Gaspal is arrested. His family have disowned him. - Stefan and Lillian take Helen to her father. - Gaspal is rescued by … when his convoy is attacked. - Tristan tries to gain FL’s favour. She reveals she knew everything about Tristan and Gaspal as lovers and that they conspired together to exploit her. In his anger at FL, Tristan performs the ritual and gains great power at the cost of his looks and his health. - The expedition force fight the evil beasts. Their shadows are revived by black magic and can’t be killed. - FL summons Lukius the king of divine beasts. He transforms into a phoenix and a meteor shower of flames strike the shadows. - Schubemitz, commander in chief of the Demon King army - FL used herself as bait to attract Schubemitz. - ML absorbs the black magic and is possessed by … - Schubemitz vanishes - ML runs away after throwing the holy sword. - FL chases after him and hugs him.
