i LOVED this. i loved the second part more than the first bc of the perfect way they overcame their hurdles together. i was filled w some anxiety for the first few chapters bc i was sure that a huge fight would break out and theyd have issues, but it was literally just them trying to tell e/o how much they truly liked one another and if thats not the cutest thing i dont know what is. i really enjoyed mitsuomi's character development thruout and it was precious to see him come to the realization that labels arent needed for love. i was hoping we would get to see them adopt a bb, which i think they def will, since yamato is adopted too. speaking of, thats actually smth ive never seen in bl yet, but really wanna bc like? ofc a gay couple would adopt after settling down? anyways i liked this way more than i was expecting. i really like this relationship dynamic too; exuberant but somewhat dense seme that is loved by everyone and the misunderstood but equally kind uke that falls in love first with the seme's positivity. ugh good shit, good shit. 9/10

im gonna choose to ignore 8.1s existence and i barely skimmed over it too so lets just assume that the events that took place when they were like in their 50s okay? its all good. anyways! this was a sad read. tbh after the first part i was kinda like meh abt them as a couple, maybe bc of how quickly they had gotten together? idk but i wasnt feeling it that much. but once some angst was added to the mix, i started to love tomohisa to absolute bits and kinda started hating hideo. he was so indecisive and kept trying to use tomohisa's "happiness" as an excuse not to sort out his own issues. it pissed me off and honestly i wouldve been cool w tomohisa ending up w his doc bff instead. but i am glad they worked it out together and pulled thru. its a huge decision to drop your entire life and move to a foreign country like that, so it shows his commitment and im happy that tomohisa was able to live happily until the end. it wasnt necessarily a relatable problem, since they both really loved e/o even thruout their break but it still hurt. agh. i still dont really like hideo tho tbfh. he just rubbed me the wrong way. he doesnt deserve tomohisa at all. whatever tho. 8/10

LOOOOL. ah. this was an interesting read. it was good tho! i really liked jesse and andy, they were super cute but like literally why did the second couple get more focus than them. ngl it was weird like ... a police officer w a minor? smth aint adding up here. the whole getting together the moment chase stopped being a minor was fucking hilarious but i mean ig as long as it isnt against the law?? idk its still weird hes over twice his age and his friends dad. damn chase rly said i only go for dilfs. chase was also so damn annoying like mans was in every damn scene w the main couple bruh i cant even rmbr the last time w just them two. speaking of, loved seeing andy go from being terrifed and having pure hatred/fear of jesse to being absolutely obsessed and in love w him. cuteeee. the problems between jesse and his dad also hit hard. joel was a shitty dad but i cant blame him. not only was the responsibility of raising a child thrown on him in his youth, but his child also villainized him growing up though he was trying his best. not to say its ever the kids fault tho, as it all wouldve gone better if joel handled it right from the start. but yeah i feel bad for both of them. well, at least the comedy was good. 7/10

yo this was super short and openended but i really liked it. just the events of single evening between two men who have loved e/o for 9 years. damn. the smut was hot too and the ring was sweet. this was so good for being so short. the animation was so nice too. wow. this was unlike anything ive read but it was cool. thanks to that random tiktok i saw abt bl hentai LOL. 8/10

ayo we love fucking CONSENT in this house. the seme was so fucking cute and respectful i love him. the art is also so beautiful. i lowkey thought the friend who put yanai in deep debt would show up and play a role but he didnt. actually everything abt this had the vibes of potentially being really anxiety-inducing but ended up all being vv fluffy. cute! 8/10

this was so fucking cute. shirou is so adorable and cautious i love it. ive realized that end up falling way more in love w couples that are respectful to e/o's boundries and take their time to actually get together. and sob the transforming into animals scenes were so. fucking. adorable. i wish there was more so badly ugh. 9/10

its my fav boys ever!! they are so fucking precious i needed a break from the side couples awkward ass relationship so i left this for the end and im so glad i did. fucking adorable i love both of them so much. also i have to say i LOVE the universe this is set in. human/beast hybrids that can transform into their animal at their will. pregnancy being possible for men too. theres still a social heirachy like w omegaverse but this is so much cooler.

this was so good. definitely my fav in the entire series so far. ugh i lowkey wanted to read this bc it had yaoi in the tags, but i wasnt expecting to have my damn heart broken ugh. i love them together so much it was so fucking painful to see them apart. and sajous mom was the best person ever, it literally shouldve been his dad that died fuck him. hikaru shaving his hair off hurt me so much sob but they love each other so much that its okay. the wedding was adorable and im sad its all over now. ugh theyre such a great couple. reading more analysis on their fight and it makes so much sense why sajou felt the need to break up, and how it truly came full circle when he finally managed to stand up to the embodiment of his own internal homophobia for hikaru by standing up to his dad and choosing hikaru instead. sob so good ugh. i def wanna reread this when the official translations come out. i hope they animate this blanc too bc its really great. i have to say, this entire series is really endearing but not in a way im used to. usually i wouldnt really love these kind of reads (prior to blanc i mean) and was even sorta underwhelmed after the movie, but i really ended up liking the whole aesthetic by the time i got to here. not just the artstyle and the dialogue but the realness of their relationship. i felt like i couldnt tell how much they liked each other in the first story, even if they said they did. blanc was so necessary to prove to e/o how much they truly meant to one another. they practically fell in love a second time. anyways i didnt realize just how long this series would be when i decided to watch the movie but it was worth it. 9.5/10 (-0.5 bc of the translations/scans affecting the reading experience tbh otherwise 10)

SO GOOD. i love these kind of stories so much. i actually completely forgot that this is the same mangaka as kimi wa natsu (the one w the film enthusiasts) but i was comparing how similar the vibes were the entire time. now it makes sense. i love this overall vibe so much. its an innnocent, sweet love that leaves me yearning to see some affection. ugh so good. junpei is so SWEET, i love tops like this. also he kinda motivated me to be more socially confident. and bro leo is so damn pretty. i totally thought he was gonna be the one to fall in love first but i guess it makes sense that he isnt as open to emotions due to his upbringing and experience. im glad hes openminded even if im pretty sure hes not actually romantically interested in junpei loool :,). super cute 9/10

this is so profound. i loved it so much. it makes me want to experience something like "once in a lifetime" night where you meet someone who you click with just so instantly, and spend the entire night chatting about everything and everything - only maybe i would leave out the never seeing them again part. i also am so strucken by the concept of one entire bloodline, from single-celled organism to modern human, can carry memories of their ancestors, passed down generation by generation. obsessed. how do people even think of these things. sci-fi truly is so fascinating. its been so long since ive read smth like this but im glad i did. the title is so cool too, emanon being an anagram for nonone. just so cool. 10/10.
