My heart is killing me right now!!! I really hope that Shinobu rejects him and Kou has to fight to prove his love. If he just professes his love when they reunite and Shinobu jumps in his arms, I'll be quite disappointed. Shinobu is building a strong character now and he needs to keep strong. Even if he breaks down at the confession, he needs to push him away and Kou needs to fight if he truly wants Shinobu. That's my thought!
