I fucking hate Khalid. No matter the reason, I'll never forgive him for killing our FL like that. No matter the guilt he feels, the humiliation he received, or any hardship he's been through. Nothing will justify his betrayal. He's a coward. I love our FL. She's not the smartest but she's not dumb. She's observant and reasonable. Her feelings are also portrayed well here. It's been a fun read.

He's apologetic and has repented for his actions. He needs help and support too. It's traumatic for both parties. The jerk brother needs to grow the fuck up.

It was a good and nice read. I like how the author touched on male rape, gender issues with women (albeit the extreme version of the past), and body dysmorphia) Oh, and author seems to have done a research on dresses and styles from the past. Although the drawing style doesn't show the dress elegance as much as it should, it's still technically correct.
