There are 3 stories. I love them all. Wish there were more. 1. Mermaid who grants your wish. There was a boy and her sister who moved from Tokyo because her sister's bf lives here. The bf saw a mermaid when he was diving under 50 meter. I love the mermaid. She's so cute with her baby. 2. The boar and its baby. They've been coming to library often because it's quiet here. The city is scary and noisy. They stopped coming home day because the dad was hit by a truck.. 3. The weird girl. She has wild imagination and she isn't scared to do things differently. She lives freely. I'm a litle envious.

I find this to be sensual and beautiful. The first story is about a guy who are afraid to let others down, so he expends himself until it wears him down. Everyone looks up to and like him, but all of those are burden to him. He met his classmate whose circumstance is a little unfortunate. His dad ran off with a company money and a debt. They met each other when the first guy had to run an errand for the teacher to get the second guy to come to class. The second guy sees through the first guy. That makes the first guy breathes easier for the first time. And for the second guy, feeling loved and needed reassured him. Although it took some time, they came to accept the love for each others. The second story is about a guy with an unrequited love with his friend. A senior found his longig beautiful and fell in love. This senior plays piano. One day, the unrequited love guy played piano for fun and the senior came to the room. He confessed his love and offered to teach him piano on a condition that the unrequited love guy will let the senior love him quietly and stays besides him.

It's a crime that this masterpiece is just 5 chapters long........ It was a beautiful, inspirational story. I feel my heart clenches in the best way.. A deaf person who tries to struggle in this scary world.. A talented music genius who's forced to suddenly live in an unknown city with unknown ppl who only see his talent and not him for himself..

1) about hs friends. One from track and field club who'd run alone by the lake everyday and a delinquent like guy who'd sit by the lake readind everyday to kill some time. I like the moment when track and field club guy was like "give me your time and run with me". 2) childhood friends becoming pen pal and meet again. Seme was an island kid while uke is a city kid. They met when they're young and promised sth with each other. Uke came to visit seme when he turned 18. Uke is sth like a nerd/geek while seme is just your normal hs boy.
