Starting With a Lie
Heartwarming. Adorable. Refreshing. Non-toxic. And all the other adjectives I could describe with how wholesome this author's works are
Shiranu Wa Omae Bakari
Futari no Table
6th grade is just too young HS is okay-ish but an elementary student is a literal child I kinda wished for them to have a father-daughter relationship but ig it's fine and cute enough.
Lie Cry Like
Probably one of the healthiest BLs I've read that's also realistic enough. Honestly, even if this wasn't BL, I might have still read this. The overall pacing, the way they interact with one another, their chemistry and overall 'unproblematictiness' between the two of them is fresh and peaceful. There's a lack of smut scenes (which I'm fine with ofc). Some author's who want to try that "healthy" approach especially in mangas, somehow end up making the story somewhat boring. That's the best way to put it. However, sensei in this one just makes everything feel so— natural. From the dynamic, approach and whole plot. Nothing is forced, not even in their relationship.
The Truth Behind the Series of Thefts
Lonely To Organdy
I haven't reread this in sooo long. I was probably still in 8th grade the last time I read this. It's so weird. I remember reading this on another site and then finding it here again just to stash in in my TBR cause I was scared of crying. Weird sht happened and now I'm reading this, crying thinking how sht my birthday is. It's a weird feeling really.
Mizu No Haru
I loved how relaxing this was
Manabiya No Sumi
Extremely underrated. Very realistic and somehow still retains in morals despite this bring a "taboo" relationship. Thank heavens that didn't end up in smut
Nakanai Tori
This author's works have a unique art and feel to them. Somewhat of a summery feel. But I'm curious, was shiki a boy? That part kinda got me confused
