Daytime Star

Complete | chae eun,godago | 2019 released

Bro. GOOD ART + GREEN FLAG CHARACTERS+ GREAT PLOT + NOT TOO MUCH DRAMA = IT'S PERFECT. A MANHWA ON SHOWBIZ BUT NO TOO MUCH DRAMA??? LIKE OMY. I dropped this manhwa 3 times cause the girl annoyed me. Simply put, I get annoyed with characters who act too cutesy with a "I need a knight in shining armour". But bro I persevered cause it keeps popping up in my YT shorts. And bro I am in love. Plus loveee how they handled the antagonist problem without blowing everything out of proportion. Sad that the guy would never be able to pay for his crimes all in all. Still, there was justice. Love how Kangi and the short haired girl didn't cause too much drama. And I especially adore how they mentioned that they wouldn't have a say if their child would fall in love with the same sex. Like bro??? Y'all we don't get that kind of thing in straight manhwas/mangas/manhuas most of the time. And by that IT'S VERY RARE. I also love the family part like UGH. Just all in all this story is

Did It Work

Complete | Rain | 2019 released

Kinda sad to think that the bro might really be the one who did it. I really need more stories with bros who are actually there for each other regardless of power struggles like these. BUT I loveee that other than that, the manhwa isn't so stereotypical. They didn't fall in love that fast but they're gradually taking those steps. Quite refreshing.

The Foul

Ongoing | Aczer,Chaepali | 2000 released

Interesting how the mc acts. He knows what he's doing most of the time even tho with his background. If he was Jaeha (was that the name of his lil "brother"?) I don't know how he'd be right now. I'm having a ton of theories with how ml knows about MC's past tho. I'm assuming it had smth to do with MC's dad's death. As of now, I can't exactly quite link it all yet

A Shoulder to Cry On

Complete | Dongmul | 2000 released

I came back to reread this after finding my old journal and randomly mentioning "A shoulder to lean on" (yes, the title was wrong lol) in my last entry. I honestly didn't even remember what it was about but in my entry I seemed to really like it so I gave it a go. And damn I love it. Some authors might go in another route and turn this story into psychological and focus on Taehyun's sociopathic tendencies. But I loved how the author didn't went down that path (I need to read smth sane these days) and kept the story short, simple but with a lasting touch. It's been a while now but has the author not made another manhwa? Are they still active on SNS?
