NOT!!! ACT! RECKLESSLY! if you want to tell anyone about it, if you want to confront their abuser, if you want to contact the authorities, ANYTHING — make sure you discuss it with the victim first! as i said they know about their situation better than you do, so don't do anything without talking to them about it. even though your intentions are good, you might put them in danger. (there are exceptions to this rule such as life or death situations but always think it through before doing something dangerous) and lastly... helping people who are dealing with abuse is tough work. it's never easy. i'm glad you want to help but it's also alright if you can't! it's not selfish, do not feel guilty for it. your own well-being is important! take care of yourself! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Promise to be there for them. Going to school was like outside time from jail but I knew that I didn’t have anywhere else to go but back to that same home. Me and Shinji are one of the same but anyways I just wanna day thank you for those who actually want to help.
