Sono Suki Honto

Complete | TAKI Nekoze | 2019 released

this was really good !!! i've never encountered this type of scenario or trope wherein they were previously together (as a punishment game) and then they got reunited ^^ its a really refreshing concept and i really love their dynamic as well >< i like the way the author told the story, they mixed in the couple's past and switched povs in between~ i like how the plot was light but it also had depth since there was an unresolved problem between the two :> i love the mutual pining and i love how supportive their friends are !! i'm glad that hase learned from his mistake and fought for their relationship :)) i really felt their emotions esp when nadaguchi cried PLEASE i was quite emotional too ㅠㅠ i love the whole confession and the line "this will be my last lie" ugh it just fits together so well <33 overall i really enjoyed this one ^^ it had the right amount of pain and fluff i felt the genuineness from both sides and the extras were so adorable and wholesome (╥﹏╥) there wasn't any annoying conflict and the pacing was just right :DD i wish we got to see more of them but tbh i was very satisfied with how it ended esp with the cute extras ^^ the art style is so pretty !! this was a great and wholesome read !!

Itooshiki Hibi

Complete | Sono.n | 2019 released

this was so beautiful :')) it reminded me of Life: Senjou no Bokura bc of how realistic it was ^^ it showed how life went for an lgbt+ couple who had a 10-year age gap~ of course they had a bit of problems at the beginning since their pairing was a tutor and a student but i love how there was no grooming involved and makoto did what a mature adult should do, but kazuhiko fought for their relationship and waited up until he graduated to prove himself that his love for makoto is real and that he'll willing to wait even if it takes 20 years for makoto to believe him :'> i just love how wholesome they were all throughout :'(( they were so domestic and adorable even though they were old already <33 they still had so much love for each other up until their last breath ㅠㅠ the story shows you how their life progressed and how their character developed as the years went by ^^ it also showed how much they value and treasure each other esp when kazuhiko got into an accident, ik how painful and anxiety-inducing that was :(( i'm glad it didn't leave any type of effects or harm on kazuhiko :)) overall i really love this (´ω`) i love how the plot was simple yet meaningful ♡ it shows that age gaps isn't something that should be stigmatized (of course unless if there was grooming, pedophilia, and other illegal and disgusting behaviors involved) i must admit that this age gap was a bit big and if you look at them, it was between a student and a working adult in his late 20s but the reason why i liked this and wasn't uncomfy at all is because if you looked at makoto, he never acted in a predacious way, he never made any moves or sexual approach towards kazuhiko~ he respected what kazuhiko's mom told him and he completely distanced himself from kazuhiko :> and even after they got reunited, he still never did anything and just continued to teach kazuhiko ^^ he waited and even refused kazuhiko at first but i'm glad that they ended up together bc look at how they made each other happy for the rest of their lives (╥﹏╥) i also really love the ending :')) it was bittersweet but i felt like it was so wholesome bc it just felt right <33 kazuhiko was happy and i just love the final panels esp with the letter, i teared up and got emotional bc of how heartwarming it was ㅠㅠ i just love them ugh they are the standard !!!! this was a masterpiece >< and the art style is gorgeous !! this was a great read !!

Blood (yura tamaki)

Complete | yura tamaki | 1997 released

its been a while since i've put down reviews but this was a masterpiece !! ik it was rocky, painful, and had annoying characters but i must stay the story was full of emotions and i just love how unique it is though it also reminded me of banana fish which is just pain :'DD kyle and sean's relationship seemed like sean used kyle as vinny's substitute ?? but i feel like he also had genuine feelings for him :')) i felt bad for kyle but not really lol bc he looked like he wasn't that much affected by sean and even straight up did it with another man after throwing a tantrum anyway the only character i love is sean though we must admit him doing it with kyle is a bit :/ idk though bc kyle just seems like a little kid but sean was kind and i felt bad esp how he was despised by the one he truly loves :(( i understand that vinny had trauma and whatnot but girl u don't need to kill and traumatize other people just bc of your trauma ???? bestie needs therapy :'> but i'm glad he accepted kyle towards the end and he even named his son after sean :)) i would also like to point out how mature and likeable sandy is ^^ she's one of those best girl characters bc she understood kyle and changed vinny ig ?? i mean i just want to give sandy some credit for not being a part of the annoying character clan :DD overall i think the plot was very interesting and quite unique ^^ i must admit it was a bit annoying and frustrating but it still deserves a higher rating !! there was also some character development so~ i think the selling point for me was the ending bc i'm glad that vinny changed for the better and i love how he still treasures sean even after knowing sean's true feelings for him :)) the art style is gorgeous !! love the classics this was a great read !!

Master x Secretary

Complete | INGZIG | 2000 released

this was a short yet spicy one ^^ there wasn't much plot so i'll keep it short~ i love the dynamic !! obsessed with how things played out esp with the lingerie play GIRL i wish we got to see more of their history and just more of them in general but other than that this was pretty good !! i mean you can't go wrong with a short story like a oneshot added with the spicy and gorgeous art this was a great read !!

Hitori to Hitori no 3650nichi

Complete | hitomi | 2019 released

this was so good :'> UGH i wish it was a stand alone book bc i would've loved to see more of the main couple esp with katsumi's and their relationship's growth but i was still pretty satisfied esp at the last panel where katsumi told maki that he loves him :(( i also love how there was a tiny extra where they were talking abt how katsumi won't cry anymore bc he has maki :')) i'm the one crying ㅠㅠ omfg i'm so obsessed with them !! the plot was quite unique bc its kind of a rare set-up but the author executed it well esp with the psychological part ^^ its also pretty evident that trauma is not something that will go away in a few days, we can see that katsumi is still not fully healed but he is getting there and i'm so proud + happy for him bc they both deserve to move on from the past and start all over again (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡ the second couple was okay, nothing too special since its your typical childhood friends + country boy set-up/dynamic but they were cute so it was okay ^^ (i just skimmed through it though) anyway i'm totally inlove with this story !! <33 i'm so happy for the both of them and i'll probably reread this again bc it really stirred my emotions :'> the art style is very very pretty too !! it really accentuated the psychological genre this was a great read !! it deserves a higher rating + more recognition <3

I'll Like You More Tomorrow

Complete | Ina,Nimousaku | 2000 released

this was just adorable >< i love their friendship omg ^^ there was no prejudice whatsoever and it showcased your typical "one-sided" confession conflict but it wasn't the annoying type and everything just felt natural :)) jihwan was the quiet and keep to himself while chanyoung was the complete opposite ^0^ i'm absolutely inlove with this dynamic and even though we didn't really get to see them officially together i think it ended well <33 for a short story, this didn't feel incomplete at all !! it would've been nice if there was another chapter to see more of them but i think the author executed the story well esp with how they incorporated the title into the story >< i also want to add that i really liked how chanyoung's earrings played a big role in their friendship ^^ idk it was just adorable how it all started with his earrings and they also resolved the conflict through those earrings hehe (^-^) overall this was a really short yet adorable read with a beautiful art style !! i'll probably get back to this again for a serotonin boost~

Hidamari ga Kikoeru

Complete | FUMINO Yuki | 2014 released

omfg okay i literally binged this and it was so worth it ㅠㅠ was it amazing, hell yeah :DD was it annoying, HELL YEAH :'DD well i think this story focused more on the growing pains of taichi and kouhei esp with the both of them having their own struggles in life ^^ i think its more of a coming-of-age story rather than romance bc the plot really focused on both of their problems paired with their character development >< it was a bit heavy to read since it kind of focused on kouhei's struggles and the reality they have to face everyday but i still enjoyed it since the author did a great job of mixing in taichi's humor which brought a light atmosphere <33 i also love how realistic it is esp as a slow burn :)) we never got to see them go to second base but i'm glad that kouhei is respecting taichi and is waiting for him to be completely ready !! :> the overall plot just felt heartwarming though there were a lot of misunderstanding ?? or should i say tiny conflicts in between which kind of annoyed me (but thats just me bc i hate drama ) but it added to the realistic-ness of the story ^^ i also love their dynamic !! absolutely obsessed with the polar opposites trope~ and i just love how kouhei laughs at every single idiotic thing taichi does (╥﹏╥) he always just looks at him with admiration in his eyes :(( esp when taichi's enjoying his food i also love how taichi'es goal in life is to keep making kouhei smile ㅠㅠ like they're literally perfect for each other :'> idk if there'll be more volumes but apparently its the end already which is sad bc i kind of wanted to see more of them together after college + being more domestic and all but i was quite satisfied with the ending esp with extra of them finally going on a vacation !! ❣️ i'm just so happy for the both of them bc even though kouhei thinks he's just a burden for taichi, its actually the complete opposite bc kouhei became a way for taichi to find his true passion and he also became his inspiration to keep living his life >< i also love how taichi helped kouhei to break out of his shell~ he was able to try out new things and he became more sociable i suppose hehe ^^ he also became more confident in himself and he was also able to accept his condition without worrying abt losing his ability to hear :')) taichi made him accept and treasure his disability which is just so beautiful ㅠㅠ i still have a lot to say since a lot did happen in the story but i just wanted to focus on the couple so thats that hehe~ overall this had such a unique and beautiful plot ^0^ it wasn't even that angsty BUT I CRIED and mind you i teared up 2 times throughout reading this and it wasn't even on the sad parts :'DD this story carried me on a rollercoaster ride but i'm not complaining the art style is hella gorgeous as well !! it matches the warm vibe the story has <33 this was such a great and wholesome read !! would definitely recommend esp to new bl readers~

Muri Marriage

Complete | Itsuki makoto | 2019 released

i didn't expect to like this bc even though i did have an arranged marriage phase i just thought this would be too forceful esp with the tradition thing involved but to my surprise they actually ended up being so inlove with each other ^0^ i love how their parents let them live together in tokyo so that they'll be more comfortable with each other (though i must admit it was still pretty forceful lol) ^^ i love how respectful chikage is !! he never forced momoki to do it until he was ready~ he even made a how-to-do list on how to successfully do it with one another >< they both did it with consent and they were also both okay with their positions which is great :)) i love how we really got to see how their feelings were formed and i really felt how much they loved each other ^^ i also like how tabata wasn't annoying and instead of pursuing momoki, he still stayed to be his bestie (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू) i also love how chikage went back to his parents to officially ask momoki's hand in marriage and they also got married again (for real this time ㅠㅠ) overall this was really adorable and funny !! <33 i really liked how it had a great balance between the comedic atmosphere + romance side ^^ i also really love the extras ^0^ this is one of those stories wherein i'm pretty satisfied with its ending bc we really got to see it all :DD i wish we got to see more dosmesticy after they got officially married but i mean they were already pretty domestic since the beginning (≡^∇^≡) plus the extra at the end was pretty domestic too >< i'm just happy for them the art style is gorgeous as well !! this was a great read !!
