✰ 5/5 (maehwa + jaewon ) & (yeonan + dalguk ) + couple #1's trope is about one-sided pining on an okd schoolmate who then becomes his classmate in college which escalates to being friends to lovers! :)) couple #2 has your typical childhood friends to somewhat a situationship? to finally lovers !!! + i liked both couples, i liked the contrasting dynamic between the two however ig i lean more towards couple #2 because i felt more connection & bond between them :)) their relationship went through a lot before being official which makes it feel more special + couple #1's misunderstandings & conflict were kind of annoying as they were pretty unnecessary but they were solved immediately so it was fine :> couple #2's conflict felt more real ^^ i understood their circumstances and their misunderstandings were small yet realistic :)) they also had better communication than the former + i love the friendship among all the characters >< the humor was witty & relatable as well! i wish we got a timeskip though like after graduating and all that but ig this story focused more on their youth like what the title suggested so it's fine + the art style is amazing! i love it <3 i also liked the plot, it was pretty simple and a bit cliche however still heartwarming looking forward to more works from this author!

✰ 5/5 (yujin + hanjoon ) + strangers to coworkers to lovers! aspiring photographer x established in the industry (has an age gap ) w/ reencounter trope! + love love love their dynamic !!! i didn't know this was a spin-off of lover boy since it's been years since i've read the said story i forgot how good hanjoon's character was! he is such a green flag :)) + tbh, both of them are such good characters! i love how yujin takes initiative but also respects hanjoon's sentiment, and vice versa! + their conversations are so mature! istg this author knows how to write mature dialogues! ^0^ i love how they handle conflicts and just how realistic their relationship is! (well realistic for people with money i suppose ) + the art style is very pretty too! definitely improved from lover boy this story heavily needs side stories because we are deprived of their domestic scenes

✰ 5/5 (akane + makise ) + omega student who sees crystallized pheromones & a beta nurse teacher who gave him peace since he had transparent crystals/pheromones! ^0^ + it's an omegaverse! has the reencounter trope + they were so adorable! was a bit disappointed in akane since he took advantage of maki in the earlier parts however, i'm glad that it didn't escalate into a toxic point! + the mutual respect & ig longing? was so cute i could really feel how much they loved each other <3 + i'm excited to see more of them since the author announced a S2 i hope we get to see more domestic scenes~ + the art style is very pretty !!! super seated for volume 2, i hope we get to see them build a family

✰ 5/5 (chiba + yaotome ) + driving instructor x his student (they are the same age, okay?)~ the student is a mangaka! + idk if this is considered old man yaoi? anyway, i'm drowning in sweetness + they're both so adorable :(( i love the pining, the development, their little dates >< they're just so cute + they also have good communication! ik there were misunderstandings, however, it was swiftly resolved + the art style is amazing! i am so obsessed !!!! i need more works from this author hehe their love story is now a part of my comfort stories <3

✰ 5/5 (seiichi + mitsuru ) + friends to lovers! high school romance filled with green flags fluff overload! <3 + idk how else to explain this? it's healing, very simple yet heartwarming + their friend group is also cute! very wholesome friendship ^^ i wish we got to see them reveal their relationship to yano though + badly wishing for S2 because we need more !!!! they're both so precious :(( it was also somewhat realistic especially the pacing! :)) + the art style is adorable! i love the extras so much! their smut scenes are so sensual and filled with so much affection another comfort couple fr!

✰ 5/5 (ai + nao ) + wholesome, family-centric story college love birds who decided to get married and adopt a child <3 + i absolutely love them :(( this story tackled a bunch of issues that are truly relevant today ^^ it was very realistic! + i love how each character is portrayed as people who actually make mistakes and through it, they get to learn and change for the better + i love the dynamic of everyone they're all so sweet and loving :(( ai and nao are such good parents! their personalities contrast, but also complement one another + the art style is so beautiful! i am obsessed with this author's stories! they always portray green flagged characters hehe

✰ 5/5 (jin + matthew ) + mafia/gang member x college student who majors in sculpting! fubus? turned lovers! :)) it was kind of an unofficial contract thing? + guys,,, ik they lowkey toxic (maybe highkey?)... but i just love them so much ik the reencounter type of trope is overused already. however, this one just makes me feel the tingles it was such a satisfying end frfr! + i wanna highlight the way matthew & jin healed each other's broken souls by loving one another they became each other's home and family :(( they both felt like they saved each other, but at the same time feel guilty for what happened to the other. it's a complicated feeling? a rollercoaster of emotions. but, it ended in such a beautiful way + i love how jin's perspective in life slowly changed when matthew entered his life (again!). he started to value someone. he also started to value his self and how he should change his lifestyle because he wanted to protect the relationship they have + anyway, the age gap's big, but idk? i just felt fine with their relationship since they didn't have those feelings when matthew was still young. jin really treasured him ever since. he even pushed forth with life because he wanted to give matthew a better life. but, unfortunately, he lost himself through that process which is why i'm glad that they found their way back to each other's lives <3 + the art is perfect! i still can't believe i've finished this already as i was one of those readers who was there when it was first launched! i even purchased its chapters when it was on tapas i was really attached to them and i felt so sad when it had a long hiatus. but, here we are !!! i'm so happy they got a happy ending >< i hope jaxx-nim gives us snippets of their relationship in the future huhu praying for a few side stories :'))
