i didn't expect to find this hidden gem waaaa >< this was so good !! the vibe throughout the story was very melancholy and bittersweet i'm glad it had a good ending ^^ i agree with the reviews, this indeed reminded me of romeo and juliet~ their story isn't just about them falling inlove but finding freedom in each other's arms ㅠㅠ they both feel like they didn't have a home but they ended up finding home in each other :(( i wanna cry the plot is so good i think there could've been more improvements here and there but i mean the execution is amazing i love it <33 i wish we got to see more extras after they eloped but i was pretty satisfied at seeing them finally freed from their parents' expectations and living their life how they wanted (╥﹏╥) the development felt pretty quick but its bc mangas are always short but i still felt their deep connection with each other ^^ i didn't expect youhei to become like that, i thought he'd be a good friend but he's actually also like yuuki's father who's pressuring him to become mature and to just focus on studying :< we didn't really get closure with their parents but i'm glad that they at least had some realization towards the end :)) overall this was a very heartfelt read~ this deserves a higher rating pls !! my only wish is to see more domestic and wholesome scenes from them since their romance were filled with a slight of bitterness at the beginning which is why i'm so happy that they finally got the freedom and happiness that they deserve the art style looks old but this is actually my type so i love it this was a great and bittersweet read !!
Ore to Buka no Koi no Saki
its probably been almost a year since i've read the prequel and i must say i did miss them waaa >< i'm so happy this had a sequel (i think there's a 3rd volume too so i can't wait to read that ><) i skimmed through the 1st volume to refresh my memory and from what i remember they're still the same bickering yet adorable couple~ though the plot here had more conflict regarding homophobia and doubts abt the relationship so it wasn't as light as the 1st volume :> some say that they were frustrated at chikashi bc he kept doubting or that he's acting immature but i mean it is his first relationship and having doubts are pretty normal esp when you're still in the early stages of your relationship so i understand why he was acting like that, but yes i do agree that it was a bit frustrating hehe i'm glad tomoaki didn't ever once think of letting him go :(( i'm not happy abt what he did when they fought (slight dubcon) but at least he apologized and he acted more mature afterwards :)) i'm glad that after having the conflict resolved, they communicated more ^^ mr. furuya will forever be the bestest boy >< he's literally their dad and guardian ㅠㅠ he's always ready to give advices to the both of them and you can really see how he treasures them individually and as a couple >< i'm so happy that he's there to guide and help them esp when they're still on their rocky path~ overall this was quite a realistic and wholesome read ^^ this focused more on their conflicts but i still got to see their adorable and domestic moments so i'm satisfied there's a volume 3 so i'm excited to see how much their relationship developed after this <33 the art style is still pretty hehe i love this type of art style this was a great read !!
Ore to Kareshi no Koi no Hate
okay i did not expect a separation arc omfg jwkshsjshd i mean not really separation arc but i just thought the 3rd volume would get back ok the lighter side since volume 2 focused on conflicts but damn i was surprised i mean i really love this, i feel like it had a mix of reality and fiction but what i love the most abt this is that they really gave a proper closure to us >< i'm happy that tomoaki never gave up on chikashi and even went with him to his parents just so that he can finally introduce himself and of course give reassurance <33 it is selfish for chikashi to assume those things but who are we to blame him :< i understand why had all those thoughts bc of the misunderstanding that is quite big so i get why he reacted that way~ i love how mr. furuya and their colleagues are as supportive as ever i just love the reassurances tomoaki gives :(( you can really feel how much he treasures and loves chikashi ㅠㅠ he never once thought of letting him go :< as for chikashi, tbh i don't think we ever saw him fully express his feelings for tomoaki which kind of feels unfair but i mean we can still see how much he loves tomoaki through his actions ^^ but yea that's probably one thing i'd like to add bc i was really waitinh for them to have that conversation and for chisaki to also give tomoaki some reassurance, but i still love him ♡ i'm happy that chikashi finally got to come out properly and even got to introduce the love of his life (╥﹏╥) i'm glad that they finally accepted him and are now in good terms >< overall i love this series icb it already ended :'(( i wanted more extras but i'm very happy and satisfied seeing how happy they are <33 the conflicts were quite annoying i mean conflicts will always be annoying, but i understand why they had those conflicts here so i wasn't that annoyed ^^ i really love their dynamic esp when chikashi becomes very clingy once he's tired :(( pls he's so adorable also i think i didn't see chikashi call tomoaki by a pet name ?? or maybe i just didn't notice it ?? anyway yea i really enjoyed this and the whole series ❣️ the art style is still pretty of course this was a great read !!
Hoshii Mono wa Doushitatte
❀ this was a short read but i fell in love waaa they're so cute >< both of their smiles are like the sun it's short but you can really see how much they love and long for each other >< kaname is a sweetheart and tsukasa is a friendly babie <33 i'm glad kaname finally confessed and the fact that they both liked each other for a very long time is cute too ㅠㅠ i wish we got to see more adorable scenes but i'm surprised that we got a satisfying ending with just 2 chapters ❣️ the art style is hella pretty too i'l definitely reread this adorable masterpiece !!
Ani No Hanashi
okay this is one of the best well made narration for bl omfg the plot is simple but the set up and how it was executed is so unique !! i literally screamed "fumitaka best boy" bc he really is :(( his reaction at first is of course due to the stigma created by our society but as he grew up he realized that it doesn't matter who his brother likes bc he is still his brother, his pride ㅠㅠ nana and takahiro's relationship is very wholesome and i'm glad that they communicated after what happened to takahiro's grandma ^^ but fr fumitaka is the mvp :'D i really love how he stood up for his brother and he kept telling his mom "why are you crying mom? there's nothing bad that happened" like he's so mature for always reminding his mom that there's nothing wrong with his brother liking nana <33 i also love that we got to see a time skip and now fumi's getting married and is also happy along with his brother hiroka's a keeper bc she also supports takahiro and nana and even kept on complimenting them when they visited >< overall i'm just in love with this one the plot and storytelling was so good !! i find it interesting how this was done in a family member's pov and we got to see his thoughts abt their relationship and stuff ^^ i'm happy that both him and his brother are living their best lives and are with the ones that they love (╥﹏╥) the art style is very pretty too !! this is a masterpiece !! a must read
88rhapsody
this was such a great find omg !!!! the author's other works also has great ratings so i'm excited to read those too~ i love both couples >< i'm so happy that we also got to see anji and yodaka while exploring ritsuki and miya's relationship <33 i just love how pure and wholesome both of the couple's romance >< anji and yodaka's relationship started from being friends and now they've been together for years and even started a band pls i love them they're already married ㅠㅠ also the couple rings waaaaa :> i did want to see more of them but i mean i'm happy that it wasn't just a oneshot bc we still got to see their moments even though it was mostly focused on miya and ritsuki so i'm satisfied hehe ^^ as for them, i love how they're both shy and cute with each other <33 i love puppy MLs which is why i adore ritsuki >< but i also love the fact that both of them are like puppies ?? miya is a wild puppy though more like a fox (?) he's very feisty and strict but also sweet esp when it comes to his friends and of course ritsuki :)) i just love how pure the development of both relationships are and they also healed each other or helped each other change for the better (╥﹏╥) like how anji helped yodaka overcome his insecurities while miya did the same way to ritsuki hhhhh idk what else to say i just love every single one of them :(( i love how supportive their bandmates are and i love how they're also friends with other bands and that everything abt this was so fluffy and abt character development within the characters ❣️ it focused more on helping their partners but we also got to see how that deepened their relationship with each other <33 overall this was just a masterpiece ㅠㅠ i love everything abt this !!! also its cute how miya is very close with his sister and that he was never envious of her even though she became more popular and stuff~ like i just love how all the characters are closely bonded to each other >< the pacing, the plot, everything is just so gooood i really recommend reading this esp after reading a sad manga lol sjsjjdjdjd its full of wholesome and adorable moments so its a serotonin boost ^^ it also has a comedic vibe so i laughed a lot too <33 the art style is very pretty, i love eccentric art styles like this so this was such a worth read and i would gladly read this again !!
Senpai (Bikke)
this was a cute one ^^ there was a bit of angst but it was mostly fluff and slow burn :> i like slow burns so i enjoyed seeing their feelings bloom for each other >< their relationship is just so pure and adorable~ i'm glad that kou can finally move on and be happy with saki >< misumi seems like a nice guy too, its very unfortunate to lose him but i'm glad kou at least got some closure from the diary :(( misumi's gf wasn't the red flag type and she understood their situation which is so mature of her ^^ overall this was a pretty good one~ its been a long time since i've read something in the middle (vibe wise) just the right amount of angst and wholesome~ i wish we got to see more of their college life and just them dating but i'm pretty satisfied with just seeing them happy so hehe <33 this needs a higher rating bc this had a good plot and the characters were really nice~ the art style's pretty too this was a good read !!
Itsuka Tomodachi Ja Nakunaru To Shite Mo
this was so so good !! really up my alley >< i just love tomo and shuuhei's friendship ㅠㅠ like they really treat and consider each other as family and even shuuhei's whole family, considers tomo as a part of them (╥﹏╥) i love how pure and wholesome they are and how even if tomo accidentally caused that injury to shuuhei, he still stayed with him bc he felt that tomo's important to him which is the same with tomo >< i love how supportive shuuhei's family like they accepted them whole heartedly and even casually makes jokes with them but they also told the two that they'll protect them if someone ever says anything abt their relationship :(( it would be nice if every family has this type of attitude pls i wanna cry bc of how loving and accepting they are ㅠㅠ tomo and shuuhei's circle of friends are very fun and quite supportive in a way too ^^ i'm just happy that they're surrounded by nice people and that they're loved <33 i didn't expect tomo's brother to be the bro-con type lol i was scared that there'll be angst or if hus brother abuses him but it was actually the opposite his brother was actually spoiling him and treasures him a lot ^^ though i didn't like what he did to shuuhei, i mean ik u just want to be with your brother but that's not cool bro but i get it, he was the catalyst to make them confess their feelings for each so it was all good~ overall i really love this one ♡ all the characters are so sweet :)) i love the adorable relationship and wholesome friendship of tomo and shuuhei <33 i'm glad that tomo can finally let go of his past guilt and just continue to make up for it by making shuuhei happy for the rest of their lives the little girl who i assume is either shuuhei's niece or sister is so adorable as well~ love the cute little puppy love budding between her and the little boy hehe they're so adorable ^^ the art style is this one is quite old but a classic i love it :D this was a great read !!
Negative-kun To Positive-kun
this was a very cute one ^^ it was like a compilation of their adorable bickering moments i love how they just complete each other bc of their opposing personalities~ fujiwara might look like he's "cold" or "distant" but its pretty evident that he really cares and loves tachibana <33 it was fluffy and comedic overall so i enjoyed this one :> the girl that admired fujiwara was a bit confusing to me though, like i don't get what's her purpose on the story but i mean ig her and her friend was a fun addition :)) she wasn't the annoying type but rather just an admirer who also ships them overall this was a good one ^^ its filled with the couple's everyday routine at school along with their cute little "arguments" >< it also briefly showed how they met and got together which was adorable :> i was just a bit confused with some parts with the girl admirer thing but i mean i read this at 2am so its probably my bad the art style's pretty this was a good and wholesome read !!
