honestly i’ve reread this like five times. every time it hits and makes me tear up. oh my baby arima. i can’t even begin to imagine his anguish, and i really want to give him a hug oh baby. his backstory is so sad but beautiful (because i love when they deal with trauma together). thank you arima for giving me some background for zimi ️️️ taiga oh you sweet baby boy wanting to be the hero. frankly the part abt him wanting to be like arima and face things head on was kinda lost (to me) so that’s genuinely my only complaint for the whole thing. they’re so cute and every time i see arima looking at the flowers i am filled with immense sorrow. and (i just realized when typing those “”) that he gave taiga flowers in their date, meaning he is reciprocating and “giving back” all the kindness and warmth that taiga and his dad gave him first. the panels in this were immaculate, and the art is just so unique and beautiful. truly one of the best mangas ever. i’m glad to go out with this one, and surely will return sometime later. and rest in piece kosei eguchi left us with peak. 10067/10

peak. one thing that kinda irked me was the ages (which i only really noticed when i reread). otherwise i loved their interactions. another issue was probably the way they described his illness and hearing, it was a little ambiguous on what was going on and if it was ever really resolved or not, but thats probably because of translations. otherwise peak

so the artstyle is..... yeah it's something... but frankly i dont mind because the story was good. they humanized i think jihyun very well while also demonstrating the effects on chiwoo very well, along with the mental toll. kijun (i think if thats his name i can't remember korean names) was done well, i thought he was a very good character. so yeah one thing i would changed would involve chiwoo fully letting go to jihyun, but i think that what they did with it was still really realistic so it doesn't really matter.

bro. i’m crying like actually. this. is so peak genuinely mayama is so fucking sweet i can’t handle it. i love the pure love that occurs, then the falling out followed by extreme yearning. i love it. i love yumi bro his reasoning is actually very well justified. they’re so fucking cute together. they’re both so precious oh my god this is fucking peak 10/10

bro…… this was ADORABLE. honestly so much better than the bullshit that was going on with yuri and seonwoo. this was soooo kyutteee and so sweet and so pure i love both of them so much. it made me grin ear to ear and also like my heart felt warm this was awesome. both characters well very well done and ahhhhfjeicbekcjsj awwww 10/10.

HOLY FUCK THIS WAS PEAK????? heechan’s life…. the way jinhyuk dealt with it… the slow crossing of boundaries from strangers to friends to what?? holy fuck it was so nice to read. it made me feel warm lowkey and wow. loved it. obviously not as angsty as a lot of the other ones i like, but it’s still there and served its job well they cooked with this one. 9.9/10

okay this was really good i loved the development it was beautiful liang doesn’t miss on developing relationships. nan jue made my heart ache i love him so much (the zimi/yu yang characters are always amazing… like the soft friendly one that secretly has issues. ugh) art was beautiful. only issue once again was the ending (rushed and no like…. affection) but that’s probably chinese censorship. stil amazing. better than starting with a lie and loved seeing my baby hear even though i don’t remember his name. 9.8/10

bro this was so cute. bongchun is a genuine angel he is amazing i love gentle giant trope. soongap is so pretty and he went through so much in so glad he’s okay now the yuri was not doomed i’m so glad. the art was amazing the angst was alright the sex was alright the plot was amazing. 10/10

bro so many parts in the middle and the beginning made me tear up this is perfect. exactly what i was looking for plot wise. i think it demonstrated a lot of real issues very well (corruption of high power MEN and their “primal desires”). the humanization and characterization of geom was beautiful frankly. the scene resonating with me is the one where he’s like drowning and there are all the bubbles of his feelings, with the most prominent being about how he hates everything and wants to die, but the small ones in the back were “i want to be comforted” like holy shit. wooyeon was an angel that’s why i felt so warm whenever geom would go to him. it just demonstrated his humanity and how much he really deserved a normal life so yeah. lowkey was getting a little lost in all the business plot or whatever was going on with the directors so idk but that was my problem. honestly it was peak. i’m so glad it ended so well too so happy that yeonsoo got a happy ending too so yeah unfortunately this was absolutely peak. art style was a little ehhhh but it’s passable. thank you translators, but some of them made it impossible to understand. whatever. top tier. 9.9/10 fuck it 10/10
