Peak if he really is Aruse, mid if he isn’t. There was probably some reason for the lack of clarity but i don’t think it adds anything to the narrative and makes the ending unsatisfying. I choose to believe he is Aruse though, waiting for Reiichi to return his feelings while also thriving on the feeling of being chased.
