The Reason Why Ophelia Can’t Get Away From The Duke
Lovely story. At ch50. I wanna believe it’s completed with her confessing to killing her mom and his dad, and him still wanting to be with her after he found someone to pin the crimes onto. Overall great story.
I Failed to Divorce My Husband
Completed
The Almighty Daughter Runs The World
Very interesting. But let’s wait till the end. Chinese manhua are usually very long, i dont wanna read 129 chap now and restart later. Currently stopped at 94w
Concentration of Malice
Tiktok comments say she’s no weak pushover and true manipulative evil villainess who did not forget abt her revenge. Edit: after reading i can say I am obsessed with this FL. No pushover indeed. A true villainess. She wasn’t uselessly swooning over ML; tripping, being attacked, or fainting randomly just so ML or 2nd ML can help; and other annoying things like being overly nice or a goody 2 shoes. She is totally joining my 2 fav strong FLs: Roxanna and Hilise. We need more like them. Please! And also we got to see her end up with both male characters, in 2 separate endings. I wish it was polyandry, but i am okay with this. So good! 5 stars, favorite. will totally reread.
11 Years and Counting
He fell first. Waited. Saw an opportunity when she broke up with her ex, and introduced himself and got her to know his existence. Not amazing, but i love that it doesn’t waste time on clichés
As The Heart Leads
At 50. End of season 1. Love love LOVE it. My poor FL, share your burden with ML, he loves you and wants to know. He won’t judge or turn his back on you. Please don’t let mistrust install itself. PS: i don’t trust ML’s brother and the friend he cam to the palace with… And how did ML get all those bad spirits?
I Thought It Was Time!
Skimmed thru from time to time. By 108/109 they have been married and have 3 kids. I want to take it from there and see if 2nd ML with white hair gets an happy ending. I feel for him
High Society
At 67. Possessive Ml. He took her from the slumps, transformed her into his fake sister in high society eyes, so she can marry a specific person of house Valle based on the promise the 2 family had to have one of their kids married. He didn’t want to have to marry someone from that gamily himself. He realized he desires her. He cares more and more abt her, but hasn’t noticed he is falling in love. She secured the wedding he intended for her, but bow he’s not so happy abt it.
He’s Not Just a Pretty Face
Update after completion: i ended up finding the couple so endearing together and as their own person. I love the lack of misunderstanding, the very good communication, ML pining away when he started falling for FL by the time the new her didn’t care for him, etc. They were both strong and levelheaded characters. Didn’t care for the pregnancy or the extra (a bit too much) smart kids they had. And hated the «she returns back to her world » bit theit threw in at the end. Very annoying. But i like how the og Ayla took control of her new life in South Korea as Hannah Yu and kicked her soon to be ex to the curb. 4 and half star ️ for the annoying 2 things i mentioned. This is why sometimes less is better. They should have spared us that. And for characters that are supposed to be very beautiful (especially ML) i don’t find them that beautifully drawn. In the earlier parts, they even look chubby. But as i got more attached to them, i was able to see their inner beauty shine through making them cuter. Not that they are ugly, but compared to many other manhwa, … Anyway, i have to take their words for it and try to think of ML as the most handsome ever. Comment : FL got hit by truck, wakes up in the midst of an arranged marriage that the previous body desperately wanted. But FL was done w arranged marriages without love. ML abhors FL bc hes disgusted by women who only chase him for his looks. Both agrees to divorce consensually after a year, but ML keeps finding FL interesting bc she isnt who she used to be. 7.5/10 rated this up from prev 6 cuz ML really be pining for FL and regretting his words and actions in the past
