Dropped. Apparently ML turns out to be an abuser, murderer and manipulator and FL doesn't manage to escape him, even though a better option comes along....

Nah. I don't see how the seme could possibly come back from how abusive he was towards the uke. I don't care that he treated him better in this life. I don't care some of the abuse resulted from misunderstandings. I don't care that seme is regretful. He does not deserve a second chance. It's even worse that he never told the uke about any of it and he only found out AFTER the two had bonded and become inseparably connected for life. It feels incredibly manipulative considering bonded mates can feel each other's feelings, so not only does the uke have to process his own emotions, he is constantly faced with the seme's and forced to be reminded of him all the time. He acts like a kicked puppy who only knows how to whine about his regret and not do anything about. At least not if it doesn't also benefit him. Christ. He should've done what he could to help the uke out of a bad situation and then stepped away himself, knowing they could never have a healthy relationship. But no. He is too selfish to not try to wipe away the past, pretend it doesn't exist and then bond with the uke without his informed consent. Cuz yeah, it doesn't count as consent if you don't know what you're consenting to. Yeah, dropping this shit.

Too weird for me. Not really because of the alien-thing, but because it starts so abruptly and MC's reactions break immersion. He acts just as alien as the alien, and I just can't get into it... Dropped.
