Ch. 9 Jo Jiwon is just your average college kid—well, except for the part where he scams people by pretending to be a shaman. Thanks to his silver tongue and some lucky guesses, he gains a reputation as a spiritual powerhouse. Unfortunately, word gets around… all the way to Jeong Tae-oh, a superstitious mob boss who actually believes in that stuff. When Tae-oh shows up demanding help, Jiwon pretends to take the job—then immediately tries to run. Too bad he gets caught. He wakes up in a sketchy motel, staring death in the face.
