1st opinion: when I first read this, I didn't fully understand about kirino's situation. I thought that kirino is not truly happy with his life, but when I reread this, I realized that it's not the case. I remember he said about something, like those people who are hiding something—their eyes are like so dark/lonely/empty, and that's the case when they are young (+ the teacher). but then at the end, it showed purposely in the panel—looking up, his eyes full of life, not like before and I thought to myself that he is happy. there's nothing he's hiding anymore. and he got two kids (one is incoming) plus his parents were back together. I'm assuming that when the mother fainted, the father made some realizations, then settled. Overall, I am very happy about kirino's life rn, it was confirmed in his eyes—it's like this is him, it's the life he chose and is happy. kirino's version of "this is 'mishima futoshi'/ this is 'me'" like mishima. Also, dragonflies symbolizes happiness, courage, and strength in Japan literature. 2nd opinion i just feel sad after seeing kirino's smile when he was with his daughter its not that he not truly love his daughter but how he was unable to be himself i feel like crying thinking how many would have had to take this path 3rd opinion A lot of people are saying they feel bad for Kirino but I personally don't, not really.I feel like he made the choice that he felt was the best for himself . Everyone learns with time what are the most important things for them, and I guess that for Kirino, that was to have a conventional, "classic" family. Grandparents, wife and kids and all. Nothing says he hasn't achieved his own kind of happiness. For Futoshi and Yumeno it was each other, which isn't all roses and flowers either, as stated by Yumeno, but it was what they wanted most so they'll be able to face life together. 4th opinion I cried because I wasn’t sure of Kirino was happy or not. I mean, clearly from what he had said, how he threw up after having sex with a woman, should have been obvious that he wouldn’t be with one...but he wanted to make his mother happy. But then she apologized...but then did he marry and have kids to still appease the her doe the life she gave him? 5th opinion I was looking for a manga like this for a long time, realistic and showing ups and downs of living as a part of queer community, its not always sunshine and rainbows, some ppl are strong enough like Mishima or Yumeno but ppl like Kirino also exist,
