you know i was gonna say "ah well it's not very good but it's fine i'm still gonna read it" but actually? no. who cares. i can find something better to read. the arts decent and i don't hate the premise but. its just SO generic it feels like there's really nothing special about it. that coupled with the fact the translation is only so so leave me with no reason to continue with this one.

aaaannnnd dropped on ch19. fuck that. the arts good and i likethe fl but. the ml sucks. the instant he put a choker on her that stops her form using magic it was over for me. i'm not saying you gotta trust her completely or anything but thats to much. your like the best mage in the empire her pittance of mana is nothing compared to you and yet you still feel like you need to limit her options. kys. also the translations sucks from ch 1-17. but thats besides the point.

you know what? no i'm not finishing this. the seme is deranged. i hate blackmail as a plot point (especially blackmail for sexual favours) and he's a completely insensitive asshole who seems incapable of considering other peoples feelings at all. i hate how they bang once and he's like yeah i want him. i'm still straight though! insufferable. the arts sexy but i couldn't make myself finish this, even for the good smut.

the arts nice but the story is not good at all lmao. edit: okay. i read this when it was at like, 9 or 10 chapters and now its at like 40 so i went to go catch up and god. this is way worse then i remember. this shit it so ass i can't even read it the arts still really good though

the seme ticked me off so i dropped this lol. i'm only just starting to read guideverse stories so maybe they're all like this but... it annoys me how little agency it feels like the guide has. he sets boundaries and nobody fucking respects them like. quit your job. fuck them. let them die then who cares >_>

you know what. fuck this actually. the arts REALLY good. and i LOVE the idea of a protagonist who can't place the story they're inside (just like me fr fr) but like. the actual story... sucks. the mc is a silly goose, which would be fine if i liked anything else about the story. i know some people might find her annoying and cringey but... i like a girlfailure. the male lead rubs me the wrong way. like i kind of hate him. fuck off man. and the plot... ugh. its all getting out of hand with regressors and transmigrators and other regressers and demon birds and whatever the fuck the ml is doing with his time travelling orb and i just!! it's to much. its ch 19 and all this is happening and i kind of hate it.its overwhelming me with plot points constantly and i feel like it never lets anything it introduces breath... all this sucks so bad cause the arts SOOOO good. i might cave and read more later but for now i'm outta here

:/ like. i'm not above this kind of stupid noncon bullshit but like. i was really excited to have a wilful and defiant mc who like like. no fuck this i'm going home. and everyone just treated his rebellion like it was meaningless nonsense (which is what it turned out to be) and i just. you can't give me a character who (rightfully) says this is bullshit i hate this and then not give me anything meaningful coming from that. he just falls in love with him straight away, no concessions from mr dragon or anything. idk it just REALLY pissed me off when normally i'm totally fine with this kind of nonsense. i guess its because having a character stand there and say hey this logically makes no sense kinda takes me out of it you know >_> ANYWAY! didn't like it. didn't finish it. will not be opening it again.

this shit is SO ass. like it's barely readable. but... I am reading it ain't I. whatever. chapters are cropped hella short so i should only come back to read more when we're at like. 40 plus. ch 28. girl. the ml was introduced with tan skin and black hair and then... he takes off his disguise and hes fucking paper white. and a duke instead of the spymaster. this actually sucks so bad. he went from a baddie to the most generic man on earth. also... the racisim lol

wait wait wait this actually whips ass. this is fucking great. its sooooo silly and fun and refreshing! the jokes are really good i love how much of a dumb dumb the seme is, i love a scheming little rat of an uke its all great!! edit for the end of season 1. man. fuck this.
