this is fine! i really like the mc, shes really cool, but the ML hasn't really grown on me. like i know he's cursed to have to kill people to live but he's also a massive dick soooo... theres that. i really want her to run away properly!! leave fr fr.

haahh.... i'm only 4 chapters in but i just... don't understand the ml man. i really don't feel his sincerity at all, he's supposed to be one of those "accidentally cold because he can't express himself, actually loves the mc a lot" types but i just don't feel it! he hasn't given any indication that's how he "really feels" at all >.> idk i'm sure he will show his heart more as we go along but... truthfully this manga is pretty mid anyway so i can't say i'll be all that thrilled either way aha... on ch 28! why are people uploading shitty translations when the official ones are riiight there come on blease.... we are on the illegal piracy site commit some for me damn it. anyway. the ml has grown on me. he's sweet. alright all caught up! this is one of those ones that gets better as it goes, it's pretty damn good now. (also finally someones starting uploading the officials scans lmao thank yoouuuu) we are in the middle of the big confession scene so i'm very excited for the next chapter.

about 20 chapters in so far, gotta say! it's pissing me off a little!! the story is really good i LOVE the mc but i cannot get over the entire hook of the thing. she's going to accidentally confess to the duke instead of the prince and not clear it up cause she's scared of him, and thats like fine as a premise in the abstract but the more i read the more it makes me kinda angry. the duke is fucking boring and annoying and every single tsundere duke of the north i've ever seen, and the prince is 110% my type. he's blonde, he calculative and scheming, he's got a cute smile, he was made for me! out of context i love the premise it's fun! but now thta i know the character i'm just... i'm team crown prince! he's better! he's cuter! he's everything to me! i can't believe she's going to miss her chance with THIS guy and end up with the stupid duke instead!!! i'm sure he'll grow on me but like c'mom man. they spent ALL these chapters acting like the prince is the ML (even though they established in ch.0 it's the duke) and its like dude! how i am NOT supposed to fall for this guy when he's serving everything you could want. crying and bleeding and throwing up. it's so obvious the crown prince likes her why... why are we being denied what we should have *sobs*. the duke is growing on me, tbh theres nothing in particular WRONG with him now per say. If he was in any other webtoon he'd be a great ML, it's just... the crown prince is better. i feel like i'm going insane if the author wants me to side with the duke they need to stop giving me incredible scenes with the prince. this manga is a kind of heaven and hell combined, its so so good but at the same time it's so painful to read orz aahhh i see.... now is the point the author goes "no you fool! can't you see the crown prince is actually scum?" unfortunately my type is trashy pieces fof garbage so i'm actually more attracted to him if anything. that said i feel like i'm FINALLY able to let him go as a potential love interest he isn't quite a good fit for the mc (^_^)b. and the Duke was really cute this chapter. good for him. uuugghhhhhh why are we doing so much worldbuilding in ch60 let me out!! suddenly i don't know how to read. i have to say i find the mcs monologues a bit... confusing. i keep finding myself a little lost about whats happening. i think i get it, it seems like their relationship is much better now (?) but like idk man. anyway.

this is kinda stupid but thats okay i guess. its interesting at least. sorta... i feel like it's not doing anything i haven't seen before to a unheard of degree like... mc with the ability to transform into an animal and magic? been there done that. emperor cursed with some kinda evil dark magic he can't control? overused. idk man. like its fine!! its fime. its... a midweek lunch of leftovers when you don't want to cook anything. low effort easy to eat fluff. I will say!! i don't love the artstyle why is everyone faces so oblong the emperor out here looking like a freaking rectangle.

hm. i like the art and the story is really intriguing but the translations are awful so like... is it worth it? alright we got an official translation! this... isn't as good as remember tbh. the arts very pretty but the plots... kinda rubbing me the wrong way. not in like a vile way it's just a little boring i guess.

Love how the princess is down for murder and is genuinely evil, i was worried they'd soften her down like how most webtoons end up -_- really like the artists switch for season 2! nothing wrong with the first seasons artists but s2 is more my type ^w^b https://bato.to/series/95981 rereading this because i'm having a moment. i first read this 2 years ago and lets just say... my tastes have refined a little bit. it really isn't very good, it's typical otomeisekai garbage wherein everyone just loves the fl because shes so cute and charming but! the thing is! shes evil! she tortures some guy like chapter 5! i got a lot of respect for that it's really funny. its so funny in fact i'm still reading even though it's mid af and the ml is... creepy. at the end of the day i love an op protagonist and i LOVE a revenge story and this is both. is it particularly good? no not really. but. thats ok sometimes.

https://bato.to/series/82213 switched to reading on bato since a lot of the images are broken lmao leaving this at the top so i know, season two finished on ch 89, and thats where i left off for now ^w^b this is so great i love the mc! right now i'm halfway through the posted chapters (on ch 45 rn!) and my one and only problem! not so much a problem but... it's tough to tell who the male lead is! everyone gets pretty much equal screen time when it calls for it, has their own charms and truthfully, i like them all! i won't be mad no matter who she ends up with (unless she ends up with none of them >_> unacceptable!!) but i do like to know, y'know? I'm thinking it may be the demon (which is great i love demons sm) and he seems like he gets a liiiitttle more focus then the others. Edit ch 69(nice) confirmed for the demon being the love interest :) well. maybe not so :) actually aha... truthfully I've changed my alliance and was rooting for the Count he's just so cute. but it's fine i do like the demon. It's a little sad the prince decided to give up on her but... well she doesn't want to be a princess so it could never have worked. ALSO! the crown prince is such an ASS he's kinda insufferable orz. like he's handsome and blonde and i like scheming bastards but i just keep thinking how i have NO confidence he's going to be a good emperor. i feel like he might be working to start a war with the demons tbh. we may have to put the second prince on the throne which is... just so sad he doesn't even want that but his brother seems a little deranged tbh lmao. allright! i bring you Theodore(mcs brother) complaints! he was absolutely no help during the first season, she has to handle all that shitty dangerous stuff herself while he was of gallivanting with his girlfriend and his shitty friend the prince there. and now! he keep pushing her out of affairs and being all like "i'll handle it" like she hasn't BEEN handling everything up til now. at least discuss it with her dude how are YOU qualified to handle anything thats happening more then she is hm :/ like hes fine, i know he cares about her, i know he didnt choose to stay away fro so long and it was out of his hands pretty much but its juts kinda annoying. ALSO i like the cast for season 1 better then 2 so far. The demon and the count and the second prince and the imperial princess are all characters i really liked and the stepmother and stepsister were good villains. this season we have Theodore and his girlfriend for allies and as i just established i don't... i dunno about this guy. his girlfriends boring and i just don't really care for her. and the crown prince as a villain is just infuriating to me lmao. so it's way less fun. also the ESTABLISHED male lead isn't even here most of the time. oh speaking of i think the crown prince is demon racist whihc is so not a charm point. god i hate to add another paragraph already BUT i REALLY think it's time she GTFO man. like why is she still hanging around this sucks shit the bricks girl! red alert boys!!!! Theo is trying to kill the demon prince because he ALSO hates demons just for existing as it turns out ORZ... girl why... stop trying to kill your sisters boyfriend you freak. why are you being like this i'm trying to root for you and you're being a dickhead! nother paragraph orz. this is getting out of hand wtf is ever happening anymore TwT she is running away with the demon prince (fuck yeah!) but the crown prince is going insane fr and now he's trying to kill theo and his girlfriend which is... no theo redeemed himself let him go you bitch
