Uncanny Charm on Lezhin Yoonjae s'est retrouvé coincé avec un bracelet qui est en réalité une sorte de menotte de l'underworld pour les grim reapers qui ont commis un crime. C'est lié au fait que lors de son accident à 7 ans, il aurait dû décédé mais l'un des GR l'a sauvé et s'est fait passé pour son frère durant des années. Mais il y a 2 ans, pour payer pour son crime d'avoir interféré avec la vie/mort, il est retourné aux côtés de Yeom-Ra, le king of the underworld. Il a un serpent sur le bras qui est supposément sa punition. Yeom-Ra et Yoo-Min/Yeom-Oh ont un passé lointain. Un enfant ressemblant bcp à Yoojae est décédé et Yeom-Oh a tué plusieurs GR à cause de ça si j'ai bien compris. Yeom-Ra l'accuse de l'avoir trahit en premier (de ne pas être retourné à ses côtés après la fin de sa 1ère punition et d'en plus en avoir une 2ème car il a sauvé un humain j'imagine). Sinon, je ne sais pas encore pourquoi Beomjin a ce genre de pouvoirs. En tout cas, lui et Yoonjae sont adorables.

"i have very mixed feelings so bear with me this is going to be long. the art is pretty, but I have a lot of issues with the plot and it's progression. one of the main things that makes this manhwa unique is the mcs skill in making perfumes. I think it's really interesting and I do enjoy reading about it; it's like if food wars was an isekai manhwa but with perfumes. however, I find the characters very dull. mc reincarnates into a villainess from a book, of course, but it's... weird? one of the staples of "villainess turned good" manhwa is all the other characters remarking how the villainess has changed, maybe they should give her a chance, wow, she's so different now! but there's very little of that. like astoundingly very little. none of her villainess past comes to haunt her and i just find that boring. the antagonists aren't very convincing either. it's a very boring "main character always wins" trope, and the story introduces random (and implied "deeper") subplots that never get fleshed out again. it's also very difficult to imagine the mc being a villainess, and I don't mean that personality wise. regarding her appearance, even when drawn as "evil", she doesn't look it at all. [...] The romance between her and the duke feels more and more plastic as time goes on, only really catching my interest in the beginning. i much prefer the prince as a character because he has a personality that can actually be described besides "cold and traumatized". "

Why did the ML go mad after FL's death in the og novel (from user JinxYOU) : The ML (blond hair and purple eyes) has excess magic|mana in his body and FL (black hair blue eyes) is lacking a lot of magic|mana in her which is why she is always ill (it's kind of leaking from her, like a broken vase). So when they got married she helped him calm down his pain without them realising it. After she died, he went crazy bc he couldn't control himself like before bc he lost his stabilizer aka The FL. ----- Right now, they realised what's going on about her lack of mana and all, so they both know. So he is acting a lot differently as to how he was in the novel (from really cold and uninterested to warm and seductive).
