He was also the one who mentioned that the other teachers went to the basement. Anyway, Sunbae made him leave and Jaemin went to the basement at some point. When he came back, he acted weird and was hyper focused on turning the lights off, and then left to turn off the power outage! "Ha Jae-min, who went underground without a weapon, came back unscathed and unharmed. But instead, his mind spiraled out of control. Crucially, he said that everyone else was sleeping in the basement." Anyway, worried about Youngwon, Hyun went upstairs with a flashlight. Anyway, they got back to the first floor and fought, then Hyun rushed to the basement and discovered the corpses. And then they discussed how he saw Hyun die twenty times at least. Then end of chapter 4! Chapter 5 is Youngwon's flashback about the beginning ! His roommate breathed strangely and he was ready to leave buy some medicine, but then the person tried to attack him. Things happened, he met Hohyun who died for the first time and soon after his vision went black, he had trouble to breath and was in pain. Then he woke up in his bed. "I often suffered serious injuries. [...] The difference was that while Jeong Ho-hyeon's wounds flew away along with the memories, my wounds became scars and were engraved on my body." Then after one of Hohyun's death, jumping off a roof or smth, Hohyun smiled at Youngwon for the first time (genuinely I think). When he regressed, he got excited and masturbated bc of that. He had already become obsessed with Hyun at this point so it's not too surprising. Then he settled on thinking that this whole mess couldn't be reality, and that's why he didn't mind killing anymore, became more insensitive and all. Then another time, Hohyun "forgave" him for trying to strangle him and went with him anyway, he even sacrificed his life for him and hugged him. Youngwon realized that it was real, he is real, a living person. He went in despair and cut his own head off, trying to end this nightmare before Hohyun died. But he woke up again. At the end of ch5, we see our timeline from his pov! And a tit bit about how he first met/saw Hohyun, who was simply smoking outside while Youngwon was in class. At the end, it was written 〈Continued in Volume 3〉. "But the ending felt rushed and anticlimactic like whaaat, u cant stop there r u kidding? What's a ceramics major doing in the bio lab?? What like, did they use the lab's oven for drying and firing ceramics? Do they make the evaporating dish for the lab? Come on." I agree with this. The ending was a bit rushed and could have used two or three more chapters to explain everything better.
