It's strangely interesting though. -> ch 25 raws Ian and Liena left. Else/Elze married her fiancé Milliam after discovering she was pregnant (apparently twins), and got raped by the fiancé. Months went by, FL's father died, and Ian came to set the place on fire, and take FL with him. She doesn't seem to agree and is sent to jail or wtv. Then she got locked up in a room. For the novel : ch 29 = ch 24 manhwa I read up to ch 31 : After she got locked up, Sybil and Elze talked. But he became pissed because she pushed him away, said she wanted to go back to her husband and all, and called him Ian. So he slapped and wiped her, literally, with a whip.

Depressing and angsty story. The FL was an innocent happy person who fell in love with a spy who got close to her and married her out of revenge. Now 3 years later she is miserable, everyone hates her, her family was killed in her husband's revolution and betrayal. And he refuses to divorce her because he wants revenge and her being in misery suits his revenge against her family. "Do not make assumptions based on spoilers because novel is so much more complex. It has 113 chapters, 30 of those are pure angst and the rest of it is about two people(mostly ML) trying to restore what he destroyed and gain FLs trust. It’s a very good story, and even if it seems unfair some of the times, it still has lots of feelings to unravel. And don’t get me wrong, ML is 100% on fault and he deserves miserable life of an empty shell he got after splitting with FL." "They stay together, they will heal each other in the end. But yeah, he is the ml. So if you are into toxic (& rubbish) ml & toxic relationships, this is for you. Otherwise, i don't recommend reading it.
